I guess it makes sense to restart the thread for general questions about the site.

On my profile, it says my favourite player is Torres - is there anyway to change that, it's about three years out of date!

I had a look through the available options, but couldn't see anything obvious.

I posted this in the Bugs thread, but I'll move it here as it's better suited for this thread.

I understand that the reborn forum is still pretty much work in progress, and that it takes time to get it all sorted out, but I was wondering about a couple of things.

These are the questions I have:

1 - will it be possible to see to the list of members currently online on the front page again?

2 - will we be able to see the last post info beside the name of each thread again and be able to jump to the last post?

3 - will the section with the recently started threads be visible on the front page again?

4 - (more of an observation than a question) I'm not sure about the dislike (vote down) option; I can already see a random idiot (of which we had our fair share here) getting into row with someone and hunting down all their posts and disliking them just because he got his feelings hurt.

I agree with everything what Red to the Bone has said but I am particularly concerned about point 4 as there are some people who may just use it maliciously against others.
Also from a personal point of view, I feel that I am being graded for my post as if I am at school being marked for my homework infront of everyone. Downgrading someone's post can be off putting for new forum members who would like to post on the TIA. I hope you get my drift here. I prefered the likes options as it was prior to 31/08/2012.

What actually happened? Why did the forums go down and why has all the data been lost?

I noticed that the whole Away From Home forum is invisible when I'm not signed in. Is it meant to be that way?

And one more thing; these dots below the avatar, what do they mean?

Yep, thats a major bug that we have IP themselves looking into.

Most people use adblocking on their browsers anyway.

Can we get TIA across the top of the site? IPS COMMUNITY feels pretty dull.

That's one of the things on the list, but it's not a priority for the moment mate. We'll get there!

Try typing the web address http://forums.thisisanfield.com/ into your phones browser. That should bring it up.

I get a 'Default Parallels Plesk Panel' page instead of the forums at that address. I can only see the forums by going right to the New Content page.
