Although the administrators and moderators of Liverpool FC This Is Anfield Forums will attempt to keep all objectionable
messages off this site, it is impossible for us to review all messages. All messages express the views of
the author, and neither the owners of Liverpool FC This Is Anfield Forums, nor vBulletin Solutions, Inc. (developers of vBulletin)
will be held responsible for the content of any message.
By agreeing to these rules, you warrant that you will not post any messages that are obscene, vulgar,
sexually-oriented, hateful, threatening, or otherwise violative of any laws.
Rule 1 - Be nice to each other
This is the golden rule. Too many forums are destroyed by petty bickering and fighting. At the end of it all we're all Liverpool fans - you may disagree with somebody's point of view, but please respect their right to have it and express it on here. This means if someone doesn't rate the player you personally love, you don't have the right to insult him. If someone suggests that Rafa got it wrong someplace, you don't call them a Manc. The abuse of other forum members is something we do not tolerate.
Rule 2. No Trolling
Do not bait, goad or insult other members, their posts or their thoughts. If they disagree with you and your thoughts, tough. Any trolls will be banned immediately.
Rule 3 - Swear if you must (it may be censored)
Don't be offensive, libelous or slanderous to other posters or other individuals.
Racist or bigoted insults of any kind will NOT be tolerated
Rule 4 - Do not post pornographic pictures of any kind, or links to pornographic material.
The site is viewed by users of all ages, and we ask that you show respect for our young users.
Rule 5 - Supporters of other teams are welcome to post here
But we ask that you show courtesy and respect as this is first and foremost a Liverpool site. We WILL ban you if you step out of line. Seriously - think about why you want to post here. If you want to engage in a football discussion, by all means register and join in. If you're just here to cause trouble, you won't last long.
Rule 6 - You alone take responsibility for your comments
We cannot monitor these forums 24 hours a day. We do not modify or view submissions before they are posted. We may at our discretion remove or modify certain posts and the moderator's decision on this is not open to debate.
Rule 7 - Check for duplicate threads
Please use the search function before posting to see if a thread with a similar question or point has been raised. If so please reply there rather than start a 'duplicate thread'.
Please think which board the post belongs in - if it's a non- LFC, but football related post, please post in General football board. Any non-football related posts, place in the Away From Home board.
Rule 8- Make your posts legible!
Don't SHOUT. The use of caps lock is the equivalent to shouting on the forums, don't continually do it, it's rude. As well, please take the time to type out your replies in English as this is an English language forum. Use of "text-talk" and similar chat is discouraged, persisting in this will see posts edited, deleted, and eventually warnings issued.
Be thoughtful when using the "quote" button in replying - you don't need to quote hundreds of lines of text purely to say "I agree".
Rule 9 - Advertising
It is forbidden to advertise your own or any other website without the prior permission of the owners, anyone doing so will have their post removed, persistent offenders will banned.
Rule 10 - The moderators decision is final
This site is run by the fans, for the fans. The moderators and administrators of these forums donate their time and effort free of charge to ensure that the forums run smoothly. They would much rather spend their time discussing the club than having to enforce these rules. If and when member(s) are warned/banned discussions will not be entered into, the moderators decision is final.
And finally...
We don't enjoy banning members, don't force us to!
The owners of Liverpool FC This Is Anfield Forums reserve the right to remove, edit, move or close any content item for any reason.
