Nice finish by McGready to save the points for IRE. He was their only attacking threat tho

Scotland are faring better than I had thought, but still early. Not a bad counter with Naismith and Anya on pace.

GER will wear them down tho, this is a rapid pace. Cannot see the Scots maintaining this for a full 90

Well deserved equaliser for Scotland. They've played well in the second half, and created a lot of chances. Naismith should have scored two.

Edit: 2-1, Mueller again. Poor goal to concede that.

Shocked to see some predicting England to make the knockout stages.

I guess it will all depend on whether that saggy old cunt is in charge.

Happy to see both Republic of Ireland and Northern Ireland win, hope Wales can get a result tonight.

Well, only 8 of the 24 teams are eliminated in the group stages, and some pretty dire sides will make it to Euro 2016. I'd be very surprised if they didn't make it through. If Hodgson keeps copying Rodgers' tactics he'll do alright, even though it was a poor imitation last night with Wilshere not having a clue how to play as a holding player.

Quotte - Let's start it off with some fun predictions:

1: What two countries will play in the final and who will be the Champions? France-Germany ...and with the latter prevailing

2: How many of the 5 British teams (Counting Rep. of Ireland) will qualify for the tournament? Hopefully 2 or 3. Hope Wales make it myself ...and some hopes for Scotland and ROI as well

3: Who will be considered the best player heading into the tournament? I do hope that it's not pretty-boy still. Maybe Robben (as still not past it) or else surely one of the German lads i.e Reus or Gotze. Could be Pogba though.

4: What U-21 player (Birth Date: 1993 or later) will be considered World Class by 2016? Surely Pogba is the favourite here. Possibly Sterling too or else Bayern's Dane Hojbjerg.

5: Who will be the surprise team of the tournament? Belgium maybe.

6: How far will England go? Really not very far at all ...and no surprise surely ;-)

Netherlands really don't have much depth. Take away Robben and Strootman and they look very weak.

And Bale has just saved Wales from an embarrassing draw.

Really glad I didn't bet tonight, a few surprising results. Cyprus winning away at Bosnia probably the biggest.

Yes, Pjanic had a penalty saved by the goalie to make it 2-2 a couple of minutes near the end. Andorra took the lead against Wales tonight, scoring for the first time since 4 years? Croatia also struggled against Malta with 10-men for the majority of the game, ended 2-0 with goals coming only in the second half. Iceland beat Turkey 3-0.

Italy with full control against Norway, without players like Balotelli, Rossi, Verratti, Marchisio, Barzagli and Chiellini. 2-0, could have been more.

Thought we had a chance to get a point when I saw their lineup, but after they got the early goal there was never any doubt. We didn't have the quality in the final third to create problems for them.

As I now live in the middle east i wasn't quite able to watch the Wales game last night, did anyone actually watch it? Were Wales that bad!?! I do hope that everyone else in the has to play against Andorra on that surface (although i doubt it makes THAT much of a difference.)

Hated it when England had Andorra. All they did and still do is kick people to try and keep the score down. Thugs

Much prefer us having San Marino. Complete dog shit but at least from the perspective of the clubs they respectfully keep their distance in terms of physicality. Though that's in part why they end up so useless

Guess they breed them tough in the Pyrenees. Though I think shit artificial pitches and rough tactics should be clamped down on

That's surprising. I know that Iceland are on a huge improving curve, but it still takes something to beat Turkey 3-0...
