But that is one continent, that may be a problem that is either solved by dissolving the WCQ in separate regions in the confederation or may be it is just unavoidable.

But, CONCACAF and CONMEBOL is not geographically, historical or even culturally intact. How would it possibly make sense to join both regions if it isn't beneficial to either party.

You can say the same thing about asia, as that covers ex USSR states, the middle east which have none of those links with South East Asia or Australia, yet are still in the 1 confederation.

But those countries are within Asia, with the exception of Australia. Countries such as Israel and Turkey could also be considered Asia as well. It's harder to make the argument to combine two completely different region than it is to say Saudi Arabia and Kazakhstan aren't truly Asia countries just to deny CONCACAF three and a half teams in the World Cup regardless of how well they did in the last tournament.

Varane ruled out of Euro, Rami replaces him.

Damn, France has alot of top players missing out (Varane, Ribery, Benzema).

Seems like they've caught the English curse.

So France are without Sakho, Varane, Laporte and Zouma. But can still pick Koscielny, Rami, Umtiti, Mathieu and Mangala. Talk about being ridiculously stacked in one position.

They're definitely deep at CB. Although i don't consider any of them World Class. Varane and Zouma have the potential to be.

They have players emerging all over the place. A potential trio (maybe not at this Euro, but in the future) of Coman, Griezmann and Martial sounds mouthwatering.

Kaka has replaced Douglas Costa, which is strange since Firmino plays a similar role. I hope they're not saving him for Rio.

What a cross/assist from Pogba and last minute winner from a free kick from Payet (again) last night against Cameroon.

Coman has potential but is still very inconsistent and he needs to work on his final ball

True, especially under pressure as we saw in the CL. We'll also see if Dembele can become a quality wide forward.

It is time for Greizmann and Pogba to step up and produce their club form in a major International tournament.

It is a joke that Giroud and Gignac were chosen over Gameiro or Lacazette

bruno alves, whatta rat. that said, kane isn't doing much for us right now.

i do think dier is a big potential weak link for england, milner also has to do more than just provide sublime crosses every now and then.

The Olympics or The Copa America Centenario?

Kaka is now out as well, Ganso replaces him.

The Olympic tournament. under 23 players with 3 players over 23? So gimmicky.

I quite like football at the Olympics, some good South Americans players on show.
    No Team GB this time....

Unfortunately i turned it on and it's in spanish.
I just can't listen to it. Gives me a headache.
The picture is terrible too. I guess they don't care for it here since Canada didn't make it:((

While i was living there i would get/stream most of the games that were not on FSN.
I would use a VPN and some sites that i found reliable, though did need to upgrade my SP.
I can send you the links i would use if you want.
I still do follow the Canada games and am surprised they did not go onto better things since the win over the US in the Gold Cup.

I've never really followed it to be honest, that's usually because it's competing with the start if the European season and other sports at the Olympics.

Just saw how Japan humiliated Bulgaria... bloody hell, they are bloody good going forward, but their defence is really shaky them Japanese boys. The Czech just lost to South Korean, unbelievable. I think next world cup, these two teams are going to have a big say in group stage games.

Fowler and Cara are in the England X1.
Fowlers left foot is still so sublime.
Cara gets jeered, in jest, every time he gets the ball by the Old Toilet crowd :-)
