The talk of big money signings is always drifting around the Bridge, It is SW6 ;-)
Apparently, he is prepping everything for next season and wants to make the most of the youth they have who fit his style of play. He has not spent much time looking at those who are on loan for this season. CB/RWB/LWB appear to be his main areas of concern for this season and beyond.

West Ham have 3 million bid for Snodgrass turned down. They really are trying to take their relegation rivals best players aren't they

Well according to transfermrkt, his value is around that region. Hammers low balled £1m on their offer. His contract is also up in 18 months time and at age 29, I can see why they didn't do the £8-10m offer.

It's an absurd valuation. You can barely buy a kit man for 3 million. He was cheap at 6 million a few years ago. Hell, we got 4 million for Sinclair

@Limiescouse age matters though, Sinclair is still very young with potential when it comes to evaluating a player. Heck, we paid £4m for Klavan. Having said all that, I think if they offer £6m, they would probably get him.

Can see where your coming from but they offered 6 million for Defoe who's 5 years older than Snodgrass and when it got rejected said name your price to Sunderland.

What point do you think that proves? A guy who is older, plays in a cheaper position, has no prem experience and is not coming from a team who would be consigning themselves to relegation by selling cost 25% more than what West Ham have offered for Snodgrass.

I think he is worth more than 3m though, that's a joke.

What a joke. All the talk about the stadium (of course it plays a part, it's the first season), but they need to sort their strategy out and improve that team. Their summer dealings were not good enough, especially with the Euro's + early start of the season.

Bit of a blow for the Cherries that, I'd have thought. Can't really see him playing much for them. Also a bit gutting as he scored in that win against us... I know it's not the case but feels a little bit like strengthening a non-rival to weaken a direct rival.

Hah, I completely forgot it was him who scored the winner against us amid all the chaos (not the first time he's scored a chaotic goal against Liverpool, I see now). I wonder where Conte sees him playing as he can be both a LB and a CB - they are not flushed with alternatives when it comes to wingbacks, though.

Thought he was more of a CB, but if he can play as a full/wing back I could see the sense of them recalling him in that case.

I havent seen much of him at Bournmouth this year, but he really impressed me at Watford last year, to the point that I was surprised they sent him out on loan again in the summer. I would expect him to provide serious competition for Alonso at the LWB position.

Is there any reliable links to us being in for VVD. Could be the solution to our terrible, terrible corners.

Apparently wegner tried to buy a young striker for 65 mill euros. Something about him being willing to splash that much on a striker is a bit unsettling.

It's Belotti, the young kid at Torino who is lighting it up this year and has had a 100 million Euro clause inserted into his contract.

Martin Odegaard from Real to Heerenveen on a 18-month loan deal.
Plus, what laziness from a Sky journalist saying that Pep's worked with Rakitic before...

Last few posts from Zoran have involved some previously high-profile names moving on for next to nothing. I can remember a few years ago Melo being feted as the next big thing to come out of Brazil, and Jovetic was once thought of as a future world-class player. Fairly sure Ntep has attracted serious interest from PL clubs in the last few windows.

Funny how things work out sometimes, isn't it?

Melo is 33>34 now ZB, Jovetic curtailed by injuries (and the one who thinks he can manage LFC ignored him, Odegaard simply made a foolish decision...

Sky sports "sources" say Bournemouth have enquired about taking John Terry on loan, are they actually that desperate they'd take him in.

Just to add as I think it hasn't been mentioned before, it seems that Gedion Zelalem is on his way to Dortmund after Arsenal decided he didn't develop the way Wenger thought he would. Not sure if that means anything for Pulišić, I think that Zelalem is no. 10 anyway but I thought someone said he also played wide.
