so we buy Neymar?
If any of you missed it.... highlights from footyroom...
What Messi can do, I can do it too.... Commentator said after Messi's goal, only he can pulled that off. Second half, Suarez did the same thing.
Bravo, Alves, Pique, Mathieu, Adriano, Mascherano, Busquets, Xavi, Messi, Neymar, Suarez
Alves, Barragan, Mustafi, Otamendi, Orban, Fuego, Parejo, Gomes, Feghouli, Rodrigo, Alcacer
Highly entertaining game that. End to end stuff; both teams going for it. Valencia put up a proper fight, and probably deserved to get a draw. 3-3 would have been a good reflection of the game.
Haven't watched Valencia much this season, but they look like a proper football team. Some very good players there, and they played very nice football today. Otamendi was brilliant in defence; actually had fairly ok control in terms of 1v1's against Messi. Not often you see that.
Well, Suarez scores again though. His goal came from a good counter, when defender won the ball back and 3 passes, they found Messi. That's what I want to see this whole season long, Neymar, Messi and Suarez all running in different directions, tearing defence apart at will.
How did Barragan play, mate? He was one of Rafa's youth buys for us at the time, and I had always good hopes that he'd eventually morph into a good player, also thought he was dispatched a bit too early by us. So, I'm interested to hear about how he did.
Truth be told, I'm not quite sure, mate. It felt like the game was basically played in transition, with less of the possession game from Barca that normally gives you the chance to see how the other team defends. And, me being me, I was focusing more on the attacking players...
But I think he has become a solid right back, from what I've seen before. The fact that he's now playing for one of the top teams in Spain also suggests he must have done well for himself. Tidy enough on the ball, decent going forward, fairly quick and generally a dependable player. That's the superficial impression I have after seen him a handful of times over the years.
Messi Suarez and Neymar destroying Getafe and now have hit 100 goals this season
4-0 and a goal from the ever brilliant Xavi. I'd still take him to Anfield for a season!
5 zip Suarez again. The quality of Barca's goals and play tonight is outstanding.
It's just like watching Liverpool 13/14
Stunning goal from James Rodriguez
Looks like changes to the distribution o fTV money in Spain is happening
In case if this was missed out. Ronaldo got pi*sed off at Arbeloa since he got ahead of him for a tap in :D
Does this guy even celebrate when his team scores...
Seems like he's not in good mood lately with Messi finding top form again.
Way to go Alvaro!
Cordoba 0 8 Barcelona. Another clinic from Luis Enrique's side and 14 in their last 2. Suarez got his first treble Messi 2 Neymar 1
I think the front three now have 108 goals this season!! Going to be a great game against Munich in mid week
And Messi allowed Neymar to take the penalty, although he did got ahead of him for the previous goal. Nonetheless, more for media to feed into after Ronaldo's debacle. :D
Suarez btw sheer class again, with a hat-trick to his name.
Sevilla Madrid game would be amazing, considering Sevilla's amazing home record since such a long time. A good chance it might come to an end tonight.
Yeah I just watched the highlights and it was a great gesture by Messi to give the pen to Neymar. Over the last few days we have seen tbe selfishness of Ronaldo and Messi's humbleness. You can see the team spirit at Barca and the respect they all have for Messi.
I fancy Sevill tonight, especially if Madrid rotate, as they have been on fire lately. Madrid seem to have peaked too early in the season and were poor in their last away game at Celta despite winning 4-2!!
Of course Madrid can win anywhere but Sevilla have a great home crowd and I think they can win with their high intensity game
To think a few months back that the press here, was saying that Suarez will be off to Man City in the Summer.
I see Luis has found his Spanish Norwich in Cordoba.
An interesting development regarding Spanish TV rights. Is the Spanish Football assoc about propping up Barca and Real Madrid, or do they not want interference from a socialist principal like collective bargaining. I suspect money corrupts absolutely. Or Sepp Blatter stands to lose something out of all this.
Well collective bargaining is a democratic principle.
Valencia 2 up at the Bernabeu after 25 minutes... if Real don't win this, Barca are champions.
It looks like Ancelotti is trying to engineer a move to us by making his bosses mad : ]
l.e. - eat that Ronaldo!
Amazing how poorly Real has done against the other top teams this year.
Really would like to see the season completed, just so Suarez title isn't tainted and also considering 1 point separates 4 teams at the bottom which effectively makes it two from four (also Sevilla should have the chance to get 4th).
Barca on the verge of a treble this season.
Which can only mean Ancelotti will be sacked and Bale will be sold.
Barcelona are the champions of Spain. Messi wins another important game.
Luis gets the league winner's medal he deserves, hopefully a CL one as well...
