For a knee, 10 weeks is actually good news. However much it sucks. Let's him find his feet in July and get some preseason training in.

I'm just happy it isn't ACL. It really looked like it at first.

Mind you, nothing official on this yet - just s rumour on Twitter.

Yes, quite a bit worrying... Hopefully he'll take time with his coaching colleagues, look at the training regime and if necessary, make it a bit less straining. His injury record since arriving at the club has been horrendous.

But how many have been strains caused by wear and tear? We've had a few, but it's seemed more frequently the case that it's been impacts, tackles awkward falls and the like.

If Klopp has had similar injury problems all along his career as he says, then it surely has to be a bit concerning? If it was only since he came to LFC, then it would just be plain bad luck, and we'd wait for more luck to come in again. But it seems he has history for it, at least it's what he says himself, as related by Zoran above.

Unless he is saying that he is personally responsible for Mane's knee buckling under him, someone kicking Hendo in training, someone kicking Lallana with England, or Coutinho coming off worse in a 50/50 I don't see how he can be responsible.

I haven't researched this, so I might be wrong, but it doesn't seem like the majority of injuries we're getting are consistent with over training of fatigue. The big ones that are keeping lads out a while are impacts, twists and awkward falls.

The niggles that Matip and Lovren have gone down with seem to be in that category, which is odd as they do the least pressing and running, and Lovren was quietly becoming a bit injury prone before Klopp got hold of him.

Anyway I thought that's what he was saying - that he hadn't really had injuries like he's had here? Sometimes I can't follow Klopp on the pressers - he just goes too fast.

When people are knackered they're more likely to fall awkwardly and get acute injuries...but I'm not willing to put my tinfoil hat on just yet.

Seems to be most coaches deal with injury problems every year, no?

Well, i think he meant actually that he is "kind of used to it" ... (Only to name Reus and Gündogan and their ongoing injuries). He once said in an interview ...he will wait for them like a woman who is waiting for her husband who is in jail ;-)

Yes, i dont think he was saying, or meaning to imply, that his teams get loads of injuries because he over trains them. If anything i think he has been keen to stress the opposite since arriving, and can be highlighted by his recruitment last summer of specialists from Bayern. Look at all the crap he got last year when he first arrived and everyone broke down with injury and they were doing barely nothing in training because the games were so frequent.

Hendo was at the game, not in the U.S. as previously stated...maybe this is good news? Is there a timeline for him and lallana?

Yeah, but under JK Dortmund had too many injuries. I remember clearly.
Is there any website where we can get stats regarding injuries under different managers ?

    From the BBC website. Nothin we probably didnt know already;

Liverpool forward Sadio Mane is set to miss the last seven games of the season with a knee injury.

Mane, 24, was taken off after colliding with Leighton Baines in Saturday's 3-1 home victory over Everton.

Manager Jurgen Klopp said he was "pretty sure" Mane needed surgery, leaving it "pretty much impossible for him to play again this season".

Klopp also said Adam Lallana was "much better but is not in training" as the midfielder continues his recovery from a thigh injury suffered on England duty in March.

Captain Jordan Henderson, who has been out since February, is "in a good way, but I don't know when he can be part of training again", the German added.

If you put them all 4 in at the same time, I am afraid we are all going to be very disappointed....

Still wasn't my suggestion. They need to step up as individuals during the last week's of the season.

I didn't get to watch today's match unfortunately. MOTD awaits

I think if we were to be in a position where we are not chasing the title nor on a threatening spot to lose a champs league spot, putting these boys in would help them more.

Will either of Hendo or Lallana be fit for WBA? If not, does anyone expect we could see Gruijc at least in a cameo role?

Hopefully, you are not right, Eddie.

    http://www.bbc.com/sport/football/39422738

On the 28th of March, it was reported that Adam will miss 4 weeks of football.
So if we are lucky, he could help in the final 3 or even 4 games of the season - Wattford away /1st of May/, Soputhampton home /week later/, West Ham away /13th of May/ and Boro home in the final game of the season.

Speaking about Hendo, who knows, Klopp said there is not a definite time scale for his comeback.

You are not the only one in that department, trust me... :-)

As for Lallana, he too doesn't have a definite time scale of when can he come back. Which for me, plan for the worst and hope for the best in this case, they will all be out for the season, but if they came back early will be a bonus for us.

I'm with Eddie on this. We constantly seem to be told that players will be back soon from injury, only to see them back quite a while later. Better to focus on those we know are definitely fit, and if others return see it as a bonus.

Well...that corner...he had a pretty bad season for us and didn't deliver at all when called upon so I kind of get some of the stick he got

Yeah, but some doesnt mean all, right?

He was a promising player in spain, who now appears to be flourishing again. For whatever reason he didnt perform well in his one season in England. Maybe he needed more time, or maybe the league just didnt suit him as has been the case with a number of signings in the premier league.
