Taking Coutinho off because you are scared of Bournemouth is ridiculous. Just play the game.

Deja vu. Again. Apart from the first 20 minutes of the second half, it was the same old blueprint that we've seen so many times this season against teams from the bottom half - Give away a sloppy goal or two, struggle to break down deep defences, hope for a bit of magic from Coutinho.

Sloppy goals conceded. Wijnaldum at fault for the first but then made up for it by creating our second. Awful defending from Klavan for their second. But Klopp takes most of the blame. His tactical change with 30 minutes left, when we were completely on top, invited Bournemouth onto us, and with our defensive frailties, that was doomed to end badly.

Another missed opportunity. And looking at our remaining fixtures, I worry that we'll see a few more. We'll probably need Man Utd and Arsenal to slip up a few more times to help us into a top four place.

I do wish that sometimes Klopp and the players should just shut up about all their philosophy and get on with it. Makes them look completely stupid on days like these.

This game is definitely on Klopp. He panicked.

Get back into the game, start to control the game, take the lead in the game, start to totally boss the game, take off our creative player, go ultra defensive and invite them onto a defense which cannot defend, conceed soft as fuck goal.

    Terrible tactical decision.

Got the point we deserved. Subs or no subs defensively its a shambles. Set pieces organisation?........when is it ok to say Klopp needs to get his shit together? Mane is a huge loss but he doesnt play in goal or at centre half.

Klopp has to take a large amount of responsibility for that, what on earth were we doing going 3 at the back with Lucas in front and half hour to play. Just asking to be picked apart and duly obliged. Ironically it was a 1 v 1 defensive error (exactly what three at the back should avoid) which undid us.

We had all the momentum at 2-1 and the sub fucked that up. Pissed off (if you can't already tell), that's 5 points dropped to that mob, all by late goals.

C'mon guys and girls. Let's not lose it over a draw. Citeh lost, Spurs do a miracle and we are still 3rd in the table. I hoped for fourth, so it's a Brucie Bonus ATM, imho

Which is why you don't make that worse by inviting pressure onto yourself.

Put Grujic or Trent on if you need to. Changing a centre back for an attacking player with a third of the game left is ridiculous, it gives the opposition the license to attack you. Bringing on Trent to offer that threat in behind is the obvious solution once you're already 2-1 up.

Would not shocked if Arsenal and City jump above us in the coming weeks. It is not difficult to imagine them winning their games in hand by enough.

Oh well hey if we took advantage of our position, it would not be LFC.

We have a problem as soon as we drop deep to defend. We allowed our opponent to put the ball into danger area too damn easily. We were good at the last 20 minutes of the first half and first 20 of the second. It is clear to see that once Coutinho is off, Bournemouth has more freedom to push forward. Firmino without Coutinho is like fish out of water.

Origi for me is one of the positives we had tonight and that's about it. Fucking lost 2 points for no good reason on this one. Without Mane, Lallana and now possibly Coutinho, we can forget Champs League next season.

Compared to last Bournemouth game this one wasn't too shambolic. Good goals from our lot, especially the play for the second. 2 shots on target for B'mouth, 2 goals... an irritatingly common stat for us over the past couple of seasons.

Think Klopp made the right decisions with the subs today. Usually after a result like this I'm lambasting him for waiting until the 85th minute to make a sub, this time he was proactive and sought to prevent us making the same mistakes we have in the past (shame we don't get points for trying.) Both goals conceded were poor. A long throw and fucking back pass.

Thought Lucas and Can played well. Divock's got 2 in 2 now, but also think he could have had more. Clyne denied a worldie by a very good save. Cou looks to be back in form, was the right decision for Klopp to give him rest and take him off, he'll be needed at the weekend.

    Gutless. Pathetic. Predictable.

Take your pick, any or all 3 are absolutely perfect descriptions of this team against rubbish opposition.

We haven't moved on one iota from the Rodgers regime in terms of defending have we? We ain't gonna win zip if we can't defend a lead when we have to. It's not like we have Suarez anymore. We can't simply out score the opposition these days. Without him, we just aren't that capable.

This latest atrocity was without doubt down to the manager which, in all fairness, he will own up to.
