No ! I banned myself from smoking during our run in !
However, I shall remove this self imposed ban now that we have achieved 4th place.

Looking forward to next season's challenge !

I am just delighted that the team did the job. At 44 minutes I was getting rather stressed out knowing that Arsenal and City were clearly going to win. A lot to look forward to now.

Reading the papers this morning I've been more mesmerised by pictures of John Henry's Mrs than reading reviews of the match.

So pleased we made it. We have been in the top 4 for most of the season and deserved to stay there. The first half I'll admit to feeling nervous but once Wijnaldum scored we looked assured, and we looked very solid after that.

The team and Klopp deserve it. We can build on this now.

Delighted we got the job done. If we didn't score just before half time it could of went differently. I missed the first 40 or so minutes and then we scored when i turned it on. Good luck charm....

Probably because Coutinho has Brazil fixtures coming up in about two weeks, and if I recall correctly they are also in Australia. Firmino is not on the Brazil list this time out.

I hope all our first team players do not travel to Australia. They deserved a break, at least for a month or so.

I think it is much better timing than doing it in July as has been done in the past. A long flight, then a end-of-season friendly, sign some stuff with fans, and enjoy having regained the CL, should not be too bad. End of the month, they are off until July.

When the players come back in July, the focus will be purely on training. No marketing, less travel (Munich I think), just preparation for the next step.

What a great result and great second half performance quite similar to West Ham

The great thing from the last two games is we have found a system that eventually breaks them down and wins against park the bus or very defensive teams.

Just a very enjoyable second half

Enjoy the next few days and then look forward to how we improve for next season

Which do you think would be more terrifying to come face-to-face with suddenly - an enraged Klopp or a deliriously happy Klopp? Either way, I think you're probably getting trampled. lol

Had to give the MOTM to Gini, guy has been massive for us this season, at the start of the season the questions were about his composure and finishing but he grew and grew througout the season and right now im not sure if there is anyone at the club who deserves to start ahead of him in our squad. Sturridge won that free kick and was a menace for Boro all the way through. I think we have run out of superlatives for Coutinho, just hoping he doesnt leave , but if he does we have no control over these things, we should get the max possible and then buy a suitable replacement.

Lucas leaving might signify a huge blow for us. I know Lucas isnt the most gifted offensive player the world has ever seen and currently he is a squad player amongst our ranks. But i always thought that with Liverpool Fc, being a senior player with 8-10 years under your belt earned you that sort of respect or aura that only senior long term Liverpool players have. Lucas had that quality in droves the way he created a good atmosphere for the south Americans who came to the club. How he took alot of abuse that was hurled at him, stayed at the club and fought for his place. I think like this are not appreciated enough for their dedication, we put so much emphasis on the "star names" or "marquee signings" its often easy to forget that players like Lucas and these long term senior players have a huge say in translating the culture and what it means to be a Liverpool player to every new comer who walks into Anfield. Its what seperates us from the likes of Tottenham , everton or Southampton. Without that kind of elder statesmen who has been serving the club for a long time it might be hard to cultivate young and new players who walk into the club.

    Where is Coutinho?
I am worried, I hope Barcelona haven't persuaded him to come to them I know one day he will leave for La Liga but not at least for another season or two.

WE'VE DONE IT!! We're into the Champions League!!! :well done::well done::well done:

    Helllll to the Yesssssss!!!!

And this is just the beginning for our lads. The journey back to Greatness begins for Liverpool with this massive end of season win and Top 4 Finish.

It turned out that nothing less than a Win would have done it. And the Lads performed magnificently with all the pressure and Everything on the line!

Very, very good start to the Project. I am elated at how far we have come. But even more excited at how much further we can climb with Jurgen by our side, guiding our boys!

This offseason will be another critical step in building a Championship contender. Really looking forward to it all!

Get HYPED Liverpool Fans! WE'RE IN the Champions League now and we're just getting started!! :celebrating::celebrating::celebrating:

I don't understand how did people come up with him wanting to leave through his body language yesterday.... he is not going to Barcelona, Klopp won't be selling him now.

It is the papers who are generating the story as well and I think one of the posters saw an interview he had with a Brazilian journalist which gave the impression that Coutinho was being a bit evasive in his answer if he was leaving for Barcelona.

I was abit alarmed not seeing him on the Sydney team sheet. Now, I understand, he is on international duty, I thought Firmino would have gone as well.
