Well. Ronny Delia has confirmed he's stepping down as Celtic boss at the end of this season, which means the Hoops will be on the lookout for a new manager.

My guess for their top 3 shortlist would be:

    1. David Moyes
    2. Paul Lambert or
    3. a return for Neil Lennon

Anyone else have any thoughts on this?

PS: Rangers will be back next season, so the Old Firm derby is back on the agenda full time!

    Deila announced this last week.
Lambert has previously said he wouldn't touch the Celtic job due to all the limelight involved in managing the old firm.
    Lennon won't got back.

There's speculation Rodgers is being looked along with Roy Keane.

Disastrous showing for Scottish football. Hibs going out to Brondby is disappointing but not terrible, Hearts getting knocked out by Birkirkara(!) of Malta (!!) is catastrophic.

The Old Firm on live in the U.S. on Fox Sports this a.m. Lively match thus far on what looks like a cold and windy Glasgow afternoon. First derby at Ibrox in 4 plus years.

Absolutely stupid idea having the old form derby on New Year's Eve. There's enough drink fuelled violence after this game alone without the need to have it today and an early kick off

Hopefully no red cards today and no violence after the match. Meanwhile, a lovely first goal by Rangers, who look lively and ready to avenge their 5-1 loss at Parkhead in September. It's been too easy for Celtic generally this year. They need a challenge like this. So far mostly Rangers.

Sadly there will be a lot of violence but it probably won't make the news as the highest rate of domestic violence happens after the old form games and with some much alcohol doing the rounds today it'll be even worse.

Celtic are streets ahead of everyone else in the league, Rangers drop to many points against the also rans in the league for a victory today to mean anything for the league title
