New season and Serie A is already looking better than in last few years. Should be an exciting one if Juventus' rivals manage to strengthen.

I hope Inter implode and go down in a ball of fire....Juventus simply must set the standards for others to follow....

Roma have added Džeko and Salah to their ranks. At least on paper, they are having a really good summer, having already added Sczesczny, Falque and Ibarbo on loan and Paredes, a very highly rated young player. I think they should keep Romagnoli and build their defence around him, that's probably the weakest part of their squad (compare their fullbacks to Juventus' or even Napoli's, for example, though central defence is slightly better than than but nowhere near Juve's).

Good players there, I hope we don't buy anymore players from Italy. We are cursed by the Gods.

I wouldn't mind us buying that Ex- Man Utd midfielder playing at Juve though.

Roma are destroying Juventus, goals from Pjanić (a sublime free kick, just look at Buffon's reaction) and now Džeko. Evra got a red card as well.

Juventus have made some good signings, but it's not easy when you lose 3 spine players in one window like Pirlo, Vidal and Tevez. They were a very big part of their success, leaders as well. Let's see how quick can they find a new combination to dominate, at least domestically.

Digne had a really good game for Roma, even more so considering i think he only had a day or two with Roma before the game. Obviously having worked for Garcia before helped him understand what Garcia wanted from him, but it was still impressive.

Inter Milan, Juventus and AS Roma were busy on deadline day.

Inter Milan have overhauled their entire squad in one transfer window... it looks like they are targeting Champions League football next season. They've brought in at least 10 players with the likes of Jovetic, Kondogbia, Ljajic, Miranda, and Perisic.

Handanovic best goalkeeper in Italy this season. 50 saves @ 88% shots saved. Inter as a whole have only conceded 7. 1st in Serie A.

Don't usually watch much European domestic football but nothing else on so decided to watch Inter v Sassuolo. One of the best game I've seen in ages, even as a 0-0, massive chances for both sides, last ditch defending its fun stuff. Un-Italian.

Alfred Duncan of Sassuolo looks a really good midfielder.

A goalkeeping masterclass. That save from Consigli on Ljajić, what the hell was that?!

Some of the stops awesome, especially the defender clearing Palacio's shot off the line and then celebrating like he had scored.

Surprise loss. Wish I'd left them alone ,Inter lost me 3$!
Eibar double is irrelevant now. Hoping Juve hit big and win by two and Empoli don't lose with Sporting Lisbon as a 3$ treble!!

Title is Juventus's to lose now

That was a bit of a turn up for the books.

We will quite clearly sign Donnarumma at some point it just begs to be spelt incorrectly.

Anyone see Edin Dzeko's "worst miss of all time"?

It didn't matter in the end because Roma won, which included Mo Salah's great goal from the byline.

Never heard of this Napoli coach before, but I love the way they play. It looks like every player cares for the team and is giving his utmost. Like the commentator remarked, it's as if the game's in the last minute and they're looking for a late winner all the time. Fantastic teamwork and energy.

Incredible. Hasn't been done in Serie A since 1929, if wikipedia is right.

36 out of their 80 goals. I'm no math wizard, but that's fairly close to 50%. Mad.
