Whatever happens with this one, and hope it remains a shite link, it was far from the smartest move that Ian Ayre made being photographed in the company of such a fella, particularly given his contract status, being an ex player of the manager and all that

I hope for his sake it was done weeks ago and not after the Suarez situation balloon went up. At any rate the PR is still appalling. Ayre should keep away from the camera. It really doesn't suit him at all. Should be working quietly behind the scenes schmoozing much better players than this wack

READING centre-back Alex Pearce, 24, who is out of contract this month, has met with Liverpool managing director Ian Ayre to discuss a free transfer after turning down Royals’ latest offer, believed to be about £20,000 per week.
Man I hope this isn't true.

Yes we need some of the best mediocre players from championship, since we will be playing there soon, if we go down this road.

Sell our best players, get cheap players and some cheap mediocre players, reduce the debt and get relegated and compete for trophies in championship.

Probably that could be the easiest way to compete for titles.

It's all over Twitter that according to Arminus' favourite journo, Tony Barrett, we are NOT buying Alex Pearce.

Phew...
