We can do it!
hopefully we get city in the next round so we can smash em on the Saturday and then destroy em on the Tuesday.
But seriously it's all dependent on our squad fitness, lovren, matip,ox, shaq. keita needs to stay injury free, and we have a marvelous chance at all cups.

Stats teling us we haven't ever had a better chance, basically. Only 1 team, in one season ever had better figures and even that might not be the case by Sunday evening.
(y)

Too many of those number things for my dim witted brain though. Maths never was my strong point at school. Half the time I’d be daydreaming, half the time I’d be distracted and would just completely tune out for the other half.

Today, after the Spuds victory, I was walking ze streets of Epcot and Magic Kingdom with the kids and all of us were wearing our full kits (I had my cool black/green away kit on).....

Judging from the reaction of the international tourists, the whole world now knows our team is the best in the world. Even those nasty, "let me look at you with hatred" fans ....they knew....

If the league is somehow wrapped up before the CL starts up again?
Not possible.

We have five league games before the first leg against Atletico; even if we win them all and our opponents lose all their games, we would only be 31 points clear.

There are twelve league games after the Champions League resumes, so 36 points available.

The league is done. We need to stop bitching out about it and just accept that number 19 is effectively already here. We have plenty of guys coming back from injury now, so the squad is once again big enough to handle multiple comps at the same time.

I’m not sure who really poses a threat in europe right now. Spain’s big two have huge flaws, Juve are very flawed also. We smacked Bayern last season and would do it again. City probably our main rivals for the CL, and they always choke.

We’re winning all the cunts this year, lads.

We can but we might not go unbeaten this season.
To be honest, I couldn't give a shiny shite about going unbeaten in the league. Yes, it would boil a LOT of piss in Manchester if we did that, and would boil plenty of Arsenal piss too if we finish on 100+ points while doing it, but for me, I just want the league title again. I was 7 the last time we won it. Now I'm bastard 37 and a fat baldy twat. Just win the league. Win the FA cup and the CL, too. When we're back on top with 21 league titles, then we can think about an unbeaten season.

Same. Although if we wrap up the league reasonably early (though not holding out hope, as when did we ever do something the easy way?) and are still unbeaten I might start caring a bit about it at that point.

I’m not going to cry about it if it doesn’t happen, but this team deserves something to give the league title a special sheen. It could be an undefeated season or eclipsing Citeh’s 101 point record. Or wrapping it up early to focus on also bagging number seven.

Yes, but ...... the chance to go unbeaten in the league doesn't come around very often. Arsenal didn't come close to repeating their feat and City have fallen well short of their record breaking season. To go unbeaten and get over 100 points is a record that almost certainly would never be beaten, so we should go for it. Let's boil piss in Manchester and north London and everywhere else. Let's have the greatest league-winning record it's possible to have while the best team we have ever had is at its peak.

Having said all that, we'll probably lose at home to Bournemouth.

We can, but I hate the conversation because it is setting up the outcome that anything other than going undefeated will be a disappointment.

Tell us who? City at their place? Neh!

At least you can't tear your hair out when we get beaten at home by United.
If I was you, I'd be hoping Klopp can find the elixir of eternal youth as well while he's at it.

Precisely. I can't imagine how much trepidation one must be under to still not be certain that we'll win it from this position. What we're doing currently isn't a fluke, as much as others tell us it is. We all know the stats. I want this team to become immortal, legends not only to the club, but in world football. Spoken about in 50 years as the greatest side ever. THE treble as Invincible Centurions. Imagine how glorious it would be.

Would love a unbeaten season. Like another poster said it would probably never be beaten. Considering Arsenal has 13 draws when they did win it. To do it with more points it’s a amazing feat. I don’t mind though as long as we bring the league home. Would love a treble more though :)

Just to win the league this season is all that really matters atm,the icing on the cake would be to go unbeaten and beat Arsenals record but even better would be to get over 100 points at he same time, just to wipe another Man City feat out of the history books, which the FFP cheating insignificunt cunts don't deserve anyway.

All that money spent trying to achieve total dominance in the Prem/CL and with every record they break,we steam roller behind them and take it away from them on a much smaller budget.

If you offered me the choice between an unbeaten league season with something like 106 points, or winning the league on 99 points, in addition to the FA Cup and the CL, I'd take the 99 point treble.
Mmmm.... nah. I'd take the 106 points with or without a cup. Being champions is a measure of a great team and winning a cup is a bonus. Of course a 7th CL would more than a just a bonus. But it's the league all the way for me and after coming so close last season we almost deserve to win it with a record that puts City and everyone else in the shade forever.

I agree i would rather take the treble however if we go Invincible and 100+ we would shut Arsenal and Oil city fans forever, I mean the thought of us reaching 100+ is causing Oil city fans panic attacks they thought no one would reach 100 points in their lifetime and we could smash it after 2 years lol

Yeah one of them is city, they will be playing us like their life dependant on it, remember we ruined their invincible run too 2 years ago i think they would've gone unbeaten if we did not ruin the party lol I would guess they would want to retunr the favour. But i will be worried more about Teams fighting for relegation or top 4 if we have secured the League title and deep into CL knockouts, Klopp will be having a similar startup to everton game me think to rest/avoid injury to our big players.

Ok Ok which one would you choose:

1) Win the double this Year and next Year (League title and Fa cup) but lose one game a season so no invisible and No Centurion (Finish on 99pts).

Or

2) Win the Treble this Year and go on to be Invisible Centurion and get 106 points But No League Title or CL next Season.

Number 1, easy.
