Disgrace of a ref, red card and now pen decision, Fcuk and relegate to the lower divisions.
On the contrary, he'll get a brillant note from the FA for this 'performance'. Nice to see how he protects Van Persie right now. Yellow card for him, while Jonjo was sent off. This is just soo typical!

Yellow for Van Persie, surprised he even got that. Wonder if we can complain about the ref, after this performance he should be demoted

Don't forget, this is a professional ref, no part-time. He knows exactly what he's doing!

Not been bad today but we have a problem. We can't get results

Not sure the cure will be imminent either

Just a depressing afternoon. Not got the calls today but the table makes bad reading

I give up on premiership referee's..I really do. What's the point of having a linesman there and communication headsets if they cant even get decisions, important decisions correct. It was not a penalty.

No one does...except maybe the bottom three...maybe not them either.
Anfield isn't a fortress, it's a walk in the park and three easy points for every team that comes here these days.

We're a fucking joke of a club at the moment.

We've been well and truly robbed today, shocking refereeing. So so proud of the team though, they've played brilliantly for the most part and had decisions been equal i think we would have stuffed them.

Agger injury just adds insult.

Come on Dragon, you can't say we deserved to lose this game. I'm very happy with the performance of our team, with a decent ref we'd have walked this and you can see the team improving game after game

Commentary on sky sports: 'It would have been interesting where this game would have headed with eleven against eleven'...

You bet it would have been interesting!

Can't blame this defeat on the team, we've utterly battered United today.

Even with 10 men we've been the better team.

We have been one for a while-at least of late- living off our past glories.

It seems that the realisation is dawning on the vast majority now.
