Wasn't this in the Albert before? And could we put up a thread with the official site's photos again? I believe Showme did these two.

Singh made the original Liverpool videos thread, back in May 2011. Yeah it was in the Albert.

Thanks for sharing Zoky. This should be required viewing for all Liverpool Supporters; a blueprint for what it means to be a Liverpool fan: Fun, cheeky, clever, passionate, knowledgeable. We all take ourselves so bloody seriously these days.
You don't often hear Anfield being this loud nowadays. Granted, it's been 20 odd years since we've won anything :-)
This film really makes me think about how great it would be to re-introduce a standing Kop like they have in Germany.

We've won the Champions league. Surely that counts as winning something? And Liverpool is probably the last place you'll see standing terraces reintroduced...

True on the second point, but on the first point, I think one Champs League victory, albeit a fantastic one, doesn't really make up for over 20 years of inadequacy in the league.

A Great man once said the league was our "bread and butter", and I'm inclined to believe him. I'd take a league title over a Champs League victory every day of the week.

I'd agree that winning the league is what we crave, but a couple of league and FA cups, a europa league and a champions league surely count as something...

It's not nothing, that's for sure.

But they've mostly been one-offs, fairly lucky victory's. We've only a couple of times been one of the best teams around for past couple of decades.

Until we win the league again there'll be a huge hole in my heart.

17 minutes of some warm up and light training. Judging by the Euro training gear and the bibs (grey ones were obviously the ones to start the game), it looks like it was ahead of the Udinese game.

Sorry, you're right, we have won some things like one of the most amazing Champions League Finals of all time and some cups. I don't mean to sound critical although I do miss the Champions League nights. I guess I'm just saying that it was easy to cheer loud back when there was something to really cheer for.

As for the issue of Anfield being the last place for standing terraces, why not? That is all we have ever had before recent times and it was what in part helped make the Kop what is is.
If you are saying Anfield would be the last place that would have standing terraces because of Hillsborough it wasn't the terraces that killed people it was, as the recent inquests have so conclusively proved, the ineptness and inaction of the Sheffield police and their consequent cover-up. What better club to bring standing back?

What killed people at Hillsborough was a perfect storm of ineptitude, inaction, and circumstance. Fact of the matter is standing terraces are fundamentally less safe than seats, and had Hillsborough been an allseater its much more likely that all of those fans would have come home. I'm not trying to take anything away from the vile inaction and misrepresentation of the police, but terraces played a part.

Does anyone have any connections to anybody who does LFC videos (Milankakabaros, Mostar, etc). I have an idea I'd like to bounce off them to lift our spirits

I still think we should go back and get an exact number on Luis' nutmegs since he moved here. He's got to be around 50 or 60
