Johnson, R Kennedy.

Last game in John Lennon's life, d. 8 Dec 1980. Living in New York he was reading everything at that time about his home city, so prob knew of this game.

Lawler.

The fog game. A young Cruyff scored. Not many people had then heard of Ajax......

I was shaking and sobbing when my boss walked into my office and the greatest 7 since the King was lying on the ball. Before anyone mocks that, at least I was at work unlike a certain poster who rhymes with @RedYank.
Did what needed to be done...desperate times/desperate means :ROFLMAO:

I will never forget that night.
This morning, I re-read the IN Match thread of that night. I remember Suarez getting up my nostrils, with those fouls and rolling around on the pitch and the referee was getting on my nerves.
I remember Gini, a man so angry and possessed, what a lion! The blurry bit was Trent doing that corner, it was so quick. I was so ecstatic, I was in heaven. I could not believe what I just witnessed.
I loved the bit when Fabinho took Suarez out. I also remember Jurgen being so exhausted giving all those interviews and swearing live on BT Sports.
I also remember screaming at the telly, crying alot with my mum, phoning my footie family in Scotland and coming on the TIA. Oh what I night, down on at 8 pm on a Tuesday night.

There are places I'll remember
All my life, though some have changed
Some forever, not for better
Some have gone, and some remain
All these places had their moments
With lovers and friends, I still can recall
Some are dead, and some are living
In my life, I've loved them all
But of all these friends and lovers
There is no one compares with you
And these memories lose their meaning
When I think of love as something new
Though I know I'll never lose affection
For people and things that went before
I know I'll often stop and think about them
In my life, I'll love you more
Though I know I'll never lose affection
For people and things that went before
I know I'll often stop and think about them
In my life I'll love you more
In my life I'll love you more

The glorious 25th May. Rome '77, Istanbul....such a pity last year's final wasn't a week earlier, what a hat-trick that would have been.

Fuckin hell, 15 years.

Exactly half of my life passed since then, and it was the greatest night for me so far!

Zoran, is it true, if you win it the 6th time, you can keep the trophy?
