Shock win tonight by Brighton in the Youth Cup, knocking one of the favourites, Man U OUT! 3-1 away.

Just Arsenal and not much else left. Pundits claim - even after the World Cup - that you have to beat the best to win a cup. Clearly you don't!

Just the 4. But we'll take that won't we?!
Aye. Should have been more but we were a bit sloppy at times, Duncan especially.

Glatzel hattrick and good performances from Clarkson and Larouci. Clarkson has a nice range of passing and Larouci runs past players as if they're not there, full back is definitely his spot.

Bobby Duncan has come on and looks sharp. Clearly much more ability than McAuley so Liverpool's attacking play has improved straight away.

Finished 2-0. It means Liverpool have a chance to progress to the Quarter Finals of the PL International Cup but there are a lot of results that need to go our way.

Just left the U18s against Man Utd. Couldn't stay until the end as it went to ET.

Liverpool were 2-0 up through Glatzel and Duncan but Morgan Boyes was sent off for a professional foul and Man Utd came back to make it 2-2. Greenwood made it 3-2 Man Utd just as I was leaving.

At 2-0 up against an out of form Man U it looked like a Liverpool win on the cards, but with the sending off, and then the talented Mr Greenwood came up with three flashes of brilliance to turn the game around.

Virtue and Chirivella both left this window, one on permenanent deal and one on loan, will have a new look U-23 midfield now, along with Markovic and Millar, means possible promotions from the U-18s

Large number of promotions from U-18's, due to players leaving/first team injury problems

Sharif/Larouci/Glatzel
Williams/Longstaff/Duncan
All part of the U18's this year

BIG YOUTH CUP NEWS - Another shock with Arsenal losing 2-1 today against West Brom.

It's opening up like the Red Sea.
