According to the Guardian, Karius wants back in Liverpool. I wonder what the reaction on here will be like...

Yeah from the sounds of it he was on the receiving end of a tackle like the Salah one. Was down for a few minutes on the pitch. Oxford manager Karl Robinson said he isn't happy with the challenge, criticised the referee for not sending off the lad who made it.

Woodburn has a large swelling on his ankle so he may have to withdraw from international duty this week.

Are we actually sure that Anderson Arroyo is in fact a footballer?

Allan's loan with Fluminense has now ended and he is heading back to Liverpool to negotiate a permanent move.

Can't find how much does Allan have on his contract with us. I guess it's nearing the end so with all the known complications it's perhaps best to sell him?

Looks like that is the plan, Fluminense want him back and Flamenco are interested.

He's been doing well back there, could get a few million and a sell on % clause hopefully.

Got in the Brazil U23 lately. We could face FlamenGo in Qatar soon. Revenge for that 0-3 loss in 1981. I've read that they're singing songs about that game, looking forward to another repeat. Time for us to win that thing for the first time!

Harry Wilson would be sent for assessment at parent club Liverpool this week after suffering a “strange” injury to his leg

Hopefully it's nothing, as he is a very decent player to come out of our academy.

PS - Good that Eddie Howe. Had it been that owl at Crystal Palace, he would have kept playing Wilson to see whether it keeps swelling, till it reached the size of an elephant.

Yikes. So apparently Woodburn just recovered from his broken foot and was set to return to Oxford... then broke his other foot.

The lad just can't catch a break. Er, so to speak.

Horrendous for the lad, must be a very tough time for him.

He was actually playing superbly for Oxford before the first injury too.
