Proof that there are no problems at all with his English:
Most Germans have a decent level of English anyway, so it doesn't surprise me that he speaks English, it's very useful because some other members of the squad in defence especially might not speak German, Sakho I'm sure doesn't, Lovren not sure, possibly being from Croatia, Moreno doesn't, I DEFINATELY know Clyne doesn't as we English are lazy when it comes to learning languages.
I'm very happy with the transfer. I would have preferred Horn for a couple of reasons, but people here will probably assume that I'm biased and therefore not objective on this (by the way, more than happy to keep Horn here in Cologne). Don't agree that there's "no difference" between them in qualities/goalkeeping style. And just looking at stats and comparing them can only get you so far, even when it's about goalkeepers.
But who cares, it's Karius now and he's an excellent GK, definitely an improvement over Mignolet, I just can't see him not winning the starting spot and I don't think he would have joined Liverpool if Klopp hadn't made it clear that he has a realistic chance of being number one.
Wish him all the best at LFC, he's still young and there's a good chance that Liverpool will have many great years to come with him. Also a good sign that he committed so early and the deal was done quickly. So, one less position to worry about, on to the next Jürgen!
Lovren's German is excellent, was really surprised when I saw interviews in the EL before the matches on German TV.
Lovern was brought up in Germany so I'm pretty sure he does.
From his wikipedia
Answers my question German goalie and German speaking centre halves controlling the back line
He's a good looking lad isn't he? AnfieldCat and Maria will be swooning.
As I said Nivea have already drafted the next advert and it's just him... Poor Lallana he has lost his starring role.
Signed, sealed and delivered!
Welcome to the most beatiful club in the world!
"Karius signs to be Liverpool's #1"
Slightly misleading as he will get the #1 shirt...not necessarily start all the games.
Any pics of him leaning on something at Melwood yet?
