What are the odds on us keeping Sakho?
100/1 or write your own ticket!
I wouldn't worry much. He is a brainfart and a ticking time bomb who will upset the camp with his childish behavior.
Spurs would be stupid to pay 30mil for him. Id personally drive him to spurs if they are willing to cough up that amount.
Judging how Palace suffered after his arrival, I can see how he would weaken a team that's already finished above us in the table.
Thought city got third?
he was talking about driving Sakho to Spurs...
Pretty economical with the facts there. He played in the u23s instead of Lucas due to disciplinary reasons, not because he is a lesser player.
He's still a very decent defender and is much better than what Spurs have beyond Vertonghen and Alderweireld, I think he clearly strengthens that squad.
Eh? Pretty willfully adding your own interpretation of what I said. Where in that post do I say that he was played in the U23s because he was considered the lesser player? I didn't.
The only reason I'd sell Sakho to spurs is so they can deal with his injury record. As for rest, I doubt he'd be a disciplinary problem and his ability would improve them while we're still farting around without a left back and looking to break records hoping to find a decent CB. Don't sell to competitors .
The only clubs i wont sell him to is UTD and Everton.
If Spurs can cough up 30mil i dont see why we shouldn't sell.
I dont think he is going to start for us considering the broken relation he shares with klopp and his stupid celebration with Palace when they beat us at anfield.
Would you sell him to spurs for 30mil or palace for 15?
These aren't our competitors mate....
Anfield wrap podcast said Matuidi may be available. Close friend of Sakho. Worth keeping the latter to sign the former?
My guess is that next season Sakho will be back on loan to CP(?).
I don't think we can use Sakho in any exchange deal except for a club in CL, Sakho just won't accept. Even as a remote possibility it would be a last minute thing and to fuck around like that is stupid.
Sakho will hold out for the window to get a CL club, he will be encouraged to do so by many involved in the France set up as well.
It's very difficult to see where he can go let alone for how much. Perhaps Nice(?).
Part exchange with Monaco for one of their lads, Mendy, Bakayoko, Mbappe or Lemar, I'm not fussy, would be sweet.
The guy will never been seen in our shirt again.Thank God.
But then who would you irrationally despise?
Why Moreno of course.
He said irrationally...
I think you'll find that was the most rational thing I have ever uttered
I think you've misunderstood the post.
I know this is late to the party, but anyone factor this into the fallout between Sakho and Klopp? 2015/16 cup final vs City.
If Sakho could sweeten the deal for Van Dijk, that would be perfect. Right now they seem to be stone walling everyone on Van Dijk, but they might be more susceptible to a player swap as part of the deal.
His time at Crystal Palace hasn't gone unnoticed in the league when he helped them massively to stay up. He was nominated for Palace's player of the season despite only playing 8 games.
I can certainly see Sakho doing very well at Southampton.
Whoops! What a mistakea to makea.
Will delete and repost.
and Palace seem to be less likely to spend the cash for him
Palace maybe thinking even if we get £50million for Van Dijk, who could they buy? Very few £30million bracket players would go there.
We could even give them a slight discount on the going rate for Sakho to make it a good deal for them.
Sakho + £25-30million for Van Dijk
If Palace get £50m for Van Dijk that is literally a steal.
Palace won't get £50m for VVD as he isn't there player
Ok you know what I mean
I knew that our transfer team is f*ed up. But never thought they are at this level. Could they be?
