Dunno who to vote for... first half was one of the worst all season. Should have lost really. Points dropped or point gained?

Play nice.....

Current MOTM Table:

Points column = 5 points for most votes in a match, 3 points for second most votes in a match, 1 point for third most votes in a match
Total votes = Total number of man of the match votes received

Went for Skrtel. On the balance of both halves, he came out most consistently decent (as in not terrible).

Hendo, for being the only one who seemed arsed before half time, and a nice assist. Genuinely debated Allen, even though he only played 30 mins, which sums up our first half really.

Fabien Delph....

Sterling the only candidate from the LFC side. Continuing his good form. Has to be ahead of Coutinho in the pecking order now.

Skrtel, made runs into the midfield to help with headers and wasnt afraid to push forward.

Lucas for me. In the 20 mins he was on, he didn't play any key passes, he didn't score any goals, he didn't provide any assists, he didn't do anything amazing apart from provide a far better balance to our team, to be steady and reliable and accurate with his passing, and intelligent positioning.

Skrtel did some good things, and Sterling was good too

That's the wrong team list in the opening post, should have put Villas team up.
None of our mob should be in contention, except maybe Sterling.

Henderson for me. Brillant assist for Sturridge's goal, and generally very lively. Could have scored a nice goal hadn't their goalie pulled out an outstanding save.

Hendo for me.

Not that he was great, but he put a shift in (as usual) ...while too many didn't.

Probably Lucas next up ...and just how bad does a team have to play (as a unit) to have a 20-minute cameo being in serious contention for our best impact player? ;-) . Can't think of anyone else though, bar Hendo (who was pretty good, especially the backheel assist).

I put in a smiley here ...but it's not funny at all.

Gone Henderson. Saw him show passion, Questioned decisions and that. I give him it for effort more than performance tbh. Our big stars were poor. Even Stevie made a couple of shocking errors. Oh Sterling was ok.

Wondered whether someone would even start this ;)
Anyway thought Hendo just shaded Skrtel for this one.

I don't think there should be a MOTM unless it's a hard-earned draw or a win...

when you walk off the pitch disappointed...

Sterling. Henderson not far behind. Nobody else close.

It was Sterling for me. He provided width, composure on the ball and an attacking tenacity that the rest of the team needed to share.

We should have a thread for culprit of the match....Brendan? But taking a deep breath and a swallowing a huge slice of reality I voted for Stevie G. Scored a nervy penalty and was still trying to create opportunities late on. It wasn't his fault that he was played in the wrong position.

went for SG. unpopular vote these days, I know.

first half was over run as DM , mainly because of the formation, never really had a chance. in the second half, was the man behind everything, moved the ball, controlled the tempo, kept tackling and winning the ball up untill the last whistle.

Sterling he offered an outlet when we were struggling to get a hold of it elsewhere.

I gave it to Sterling to atone for all of my #Raheemscepticism of the past
but pretty bleak all around
