So as it stands, we match the next 6 results of City and we can do it on Saturday 21st March 2020, which is Palace at home.

This could change. Probably will change, and could be earlier - the game before is Goodison, and the one before that is Bournemouth at home.

WHEN, not IF.

Wherever it is, I hope you’re there in person. And I hope you send me some pictures for a change.

We had this conversation over text a few weeks back. I was originally planning April 11 match at home but the lads are impatient. No way I can make it over there this season now, but we could have this wrapped up in March. Unheard of

Question remains then, do the lads still push for a near perfect season with just the one draw, or do they throttle back once the title is secured and rotate with CL and FA Cup still to come

Klopp has brainwashed this team to go for the win everytime. I think if he will rest players it will be around 3-4 players at a time. We are more than capable of beating anyone in the league with that.

Throw that post back to the Woy era, you’d have been locked up for insanity.

I want us to win it at home against Palace. I want as many of our fans as possible to see us do it in the flesh. I also think that if it were possible for us to win it at Woodison or the Emptihad then lots of their fans would just boycott it.
We’ve waited thirty years for this. I want it to be a joyous celebration not a damp squib.

There’s no danger of that.

I agree that it would be best to win it at home, and the Palace game does look the most likely, but it’s not as if everyone is just going to go home mumbling and shuffling their feet if we win it away or even by not playing at all and City fucking up.

After thirty years of waiting, I don’t care how or when we actually cross the line.

Me neither. Though if it were to come down to us winning whilst not playing (ie Citoil losing a game and making it mathematically impossible for them to become champs) then I'll probably be watching that game in the pub rather than at home.

They are so pitiful and irrelevant at the moment that clinching the title at Goodison wouldn't do much for me. Winning it at the two thirds of the way empty Etihad on the other hand...
Emptihad wouldnt be empty , from the looks of it , most of the home seats will be filled by Liverpool fans.

There is a chance we might win the league when we don't play. For this to happen we have to beat Norwich,West Ham,Watford and Bournemouth and City have to lose to Leicester and United. To win the league at Goodison we will need City to take 7 points from their next 4 games.

I hope sky lets that rat faced inbred neville commentate our game then together with carra. Just to take the piss
Has anyone noticed his sallow green yellow complexion of late? We're either driving him to liver damage (alcohol and painkillers can do that) or he's transitioning into some sort of ogre.

2 wins , 1 draw and 1 loss.

Not something that can't be done. They will have the champions league match in between which could lead to pep fielding a weakened side in the league. Chance that losing to Leicester might mathematically enable Leicester to be in the running though

Now that the Man City Vs West Ham game has even postponed - it looks like we cant win this at Bournemouth at home. Could be at Goodison the following week though. Otherwise, win all our games and its happening at Palace.

Shame the West Ham game got postponed as I was feeling they could have got a point off city today.

I might be in minority here, but I actually rate Neville as a pundit. I think he argues very well and make very good points. Even when I dont agree with him, in most instances I can understand his point as he have put much tought into it.

Apparently the city home support is going to do the poznan, and I’m sure 15 lads turning their backs, linking arms and jumping in unison will be quite the sight.
First thought, what home support? Empty seats are a guarantee.

Second thought - it'll probably be the 1st team doing it for the guard of honour - that would be funny. So many other football fans hate this. All of this. But I love it.

city have a newly rescheduled game next wednesday vs west ham, leicester a few days later, and man u (a few days after the carabao cup final) before we play at goodison. given their current form, you have to imagine them dropping a few points in that stretch. if they drop at least 3, and we don't drop any, we win it at goodison.

I want it to be at Anfield...end of story. You, the other TIA locals, and the battling bastards who head into the building each home match deserve it more than anyone.
(Well @Alright Now should be one too ;))
