Another scrappy win. Not easy to go away in Europe then play away in the league just a few days later, so I'll take that.

We should have had that game won in the first half, too much complacency today.

Trent didn't look fit and Alisson needs to step his game back up. Fabinho and Wijnaldum were very good as usual, Lallana's pressing was good to see. Origi did exactly what was needed off the bench, perhaps he should have started. Mane the main man yet again.

Hopefully after this international break we'll have a fully fit squad, will be well rested and ready to see out the rest of the season (said something similar the last two times though).

Allisson with his worst error in a while. Defence as a unit played poorly in the second half, TAA was really struggling with simple stuff. Midfield couldn't really build pressure, and struggled to contain the counter. Firmino wasteful Salah worse....and Mane comes through again.

At this point, the little Senegalese has put the whole team on his back to try to carry LFC to the title and the European Cup.

I had the nerve to watch this one after missing the Bayern game with a bad case of the heebie-jeebies. Wish I'd missed this one instead. But now I'm enjoying that win more than the Bayern result.

I looked at it and it was preceded by the worst backward scooped clearance from Milner; sometimes shit happens.

Pheeww... A much more difficult win than everyone expected. But it was always going to be difficult after that midweek game at Munich. A good, but a bit profligate first half, followed by a difficult second half, also not helped with bad weather coming up, and that stupid goal conceded.

Fortunately, our lads managed to find a way through after that needless equaliser, although with the help of a clueless Fulham keeper and defence. Well done Milner for holding his nerves in such a pressure moment!

Top again for a time, what's not to like about that? :celebrating:

Nervy last 20 min . We were lucky today. Salah is becoming ridiculous and greedy. TAA is also becoming casual and careless .
Origi did very well and klopp must have courage to sub Salah much earlier

Never been happier to see an international break. Hopefully Mo can get a goal for Egypt and play himself into some form. We were never at it all game and almost threw it away through sheer sloppiness. 3 points in the bag though and pressure back on city
