Whilst I appreciate winning whilst playing badly is fantastic.. Id love us to properly stuff someone soon, and play some nice football. We look so so tired, misplacing the easiest of passes. Can we go back to smashing teams and playing breathtaking football please? Enough of this!!

The amount of times we conceded outwide to let them cross for that 7 foot fucking giant was terrible.

Lucky to get out of dodge... Onwards though, best start to a premiership season.. Joint top.. Madnass really as we are still in neutral.

Without Van Dijk we’d be mid-table imo.. Fucking colossus.

How much longer can we keep putting in these performances & luck out though?

Damn I'm usually fairly positive but our performances are getting worse, we can barely create a good chance against Huddersfield who are pure fodder for any decent team.

They can barely put a few simple passes together in the final 3rd.

Gomez MOTM. Shaqiri not too far behind. Robbo and Lovren were okay, thought Van Dijk looked a bit sluggish. The rest were pretty abysmal apart from Wijnaldum and Fabinho off the bench who certainly helped.

We need to be sharper on the counter, so many terrible passes that wasted golden opportunities (Salah and Firmino the worst culprits).

Horrible attacking performance but our defensive solidity gets us the win again. 2 home games against weaker opposition next to get our football back on track.

Joint top of the league still, Mo scoring, a clean sheet.

If you were new to all this you'd think awesome......

But we've lost something, dunno what, the pressing has gone, the wavelength between players has gone, our slick passing has totally gone to shit and we don't appear to even be able to put together or complete simple passes.

No idea whats going on...........but surely we can't put this on the World Cup still?

We appear to have forgotten how to play football at times.

Still..........top of the league innit

Huddersfield are going down. The fact we got 3 points shows how inefficient they were.
Our mid was piss poor and they still couldnt get any decent attack going.

another win, bottom line

lovren had one lovren moment late on, but the CBs were generally solid. gomez MOTM for me. robertson played well also, but they did find space out wide in the last 10 minutes

gini was very good after he came on, fabinho wasn't bad either. lallana and shaqiri were OK--they have their shortcomings, obviously

final ball lacking quite a few times, penultimate ball lacking more often than that. studge wasn't great but at least he looks fit, salah wasn't great but at least he got a goal, and he worked hard for the full 90

I'll take it.

Best news for me is how angry Klopp was and presumably he realises things are not shaping up well.

The attack is haphazard, random and completely clueless. We need to work on a way to make that area of the team function whilst keeping our defensive solidity.

One part I do disagree with is people saying Huddersfield desrrved a point. They did not really do anything to come close to scoring and are basically being praised for being "plucky" and winning the midfield battle.

We were poor, but we had the only player who showed a second of quality and that was enough to earn the win.

Need to see more cohesion in future games to consistently keep winning though.
