When you think Trent is 19.. Fucking bosses Neymar.. Gomez is 21.. Fucking smashed Cavani all over.. These are the elite of the game and some of our youngest players just had them in their back pocket all game.

I honestly feel this season we are going to do some damage.. Minimum 1 trophy.
Yet fatboy Jonny Pearce couldn't stop mentioning Mbappe age all through the game without a mention of TAA,the fat docile twat

What channel was Pearce on? Macca on BT Sports was laying into PSG all game, calling them a bunch of lazy twats.

Soon the world will be realising how good some of our youngsters we have here... And none of this "you are too good shirk your defensive duties" shit.. Klopp don't stand for it, I love that about our team, they all play for eachother, its all about the team.. We must be a fucking long 90 minutes for any team to play against.

Mbappe showed glimpses.. Get him here with Klopp to smack some sense/responsibility into his lazy bones and fuck me what a talent! We have to be becoming more and more attractive now, who wouldn't want a Klopp hug..

It better happen soon before he begins to hate us for ruining his season.

He's only got to play us once more.. He can go back to steamrolling the dross in the French League for a living soon.

Robertson, guy from Hull.. Yes Hull, was unemployed what 5 years ago? Just kept the darling of French and World Football in his pocket!

If Mbappe stays at PSG he may not fulfill his potential, they are the definition and visible embodiment of a mercenary team only playing for themselves.

I thought it was just a tremendous performance all round. Tactically ,skill wise and effort. Mo seems to have a problem at the moment Seems a bit distracted. When he does get his head right everything else will follow and we will see the real Mo Salah again. Not sure if a rest would benefit him or if he just has to work through it. What ever I hope it happens soon as we are going to need him back on top form soon.

The only problem with Salah is last season and his new contract went to his head. He is now realising that Klopp is correct and hard work is needed. All will fall in place with time and patience. It's not like he's been playing poorly just needs to make that little extra effort.

I think he's burnt out after a long season, no rest, rushed back from injury to play at the world cup.. Fatigue is very common - Look at Kane at Spurs, very similar at this stage of the season.

I'd give Shaqiri a chance v's Southampton because he looks right up for it.

Awesome atmosphere in Anfield last night. Lost my voice. We were in the front row in lower kenny. Different perspective to watch a game to the usual seats we get.

I love this club on a European night. Right up there in terms of great matches I've been lucky enough to go to.

Milner...What a man. He's on course to take the best bossman for our club away from Gary Max.

Yeah, really strange to read people saying it was poor or disappointing from us.

For a group game that's about as good as it's going to get, it was fantastic.

The proper raucous atmospheres and buildups can only be generated when we reach the knockouts. I agree...for a group game, awesome. Particularly pre kickoff and then in patches through the game.

I also just watched Lyon / Man City.

LFC are playing many orders of magnitude better then Man City.

This means that LFC could easy win league and maybe FA cup.

This LFC squad could easy pull a treble this year.

After all, Allison nearly fell asleep playing spurs, because spurs could not get passed LFC defence. That only leaves Chelsea, if we can beat them, we could win the treble.

TV has a habit of turning the noise down and placing microphones near away fans, oftem skews the perception.
it's probably because they have to be neutral and offer a fair atmospheric point for those neutrals and away supporters . 40,000 + home fans will be heard anyway most of the time and if you have 40,000 moaning because they are losing it detracts from the overall appeal . sounded like a great atmos overall.

24 hours to reflect and the conclusion I come up with is that the scoreline really really flattered PSG and was in no way an indication of utterly outclassed they were.

Before the match I was worried our midfield could possibly struggle to cope with the attacking their front 6 can present, well that humble pie was well and truly enjoyed. Their midfield offered the square root of dick. Milner was fucking amazing, seriously what is that guy on? How the hell do you get better at the age of 32? I hope he picks up a couple of trophies with us before he leaves in 3 or 4 seasons because the guy deserves it. Gini as well, he seemed to be everywhere, it seems the increased competition from the bench has done him the world of good. Henderson was great on defense, couple of fantastic tackles and a lot of timely interceptions too, he did get beaten 1on1 a few times though.

Our backline, again fantastic. We could have done more for the first goal but you can't really fault them for the 2nd given they were pushing up before Mo played a shocker.

...speaking of. Just what the fuck is going on with Mo? I don't think anyone expected him to reach last seasons heights, but I don't think anyone expected him to fall off a cliff. It's not that he isn't scoring, it's that every aspect of his game looks Chelsea-days-like-terrible. Can't keep possession, can't beat his man, getting skinned for pace, misplacing passes. Something isn't quite right there, it seems more mental than anything, shoulder playing on his mind? This bullshit with the Egyptian FA perhaps? I wouldn't be against him riding some pine this weekend and Shaqiri getting a start.

Mane, frustrating at the moment if I'm honest. Countless times against PSG he took the wrong option, which was usually the one that ended up with him keeping the ball rather than playing it to a wide open team mate, I would understand if Mo was getting fucked off because he did the same thing against Spurs when players were in better positions, rather than passing it he tried to go alone or take a stupid shot. He's the definition of "takes 4 touches when 2 will do"

Danny, new lease of life that boy. Bullet header from a beaut cross and really should have had another. Looked lively and dropped deep to pick up possession a number of times. Really wouldn't mind seeing him and Bobby starting together at some point. Takes so much pressure off knowing we have a genuine goal scoring option sitting on the bench when Bobby needs a rest.

All in all, bloody good performance, should have been 4-0 though.

Regarding Mo - please allow me to preface this post by saying it's 100% out of respect and love for him. I would never in my life say an arbitrary or glib negative word about him because I respect him as a human first, and as a footballer second. In fact, my respect for him and his impact on world football is immeasurable. It's making me insane to see talking heads in the media make such an issue out of the "water bottle" nonsense. It also breaks my heart to see him struggling the way he is. I am not even concerned about his lack of goal production, those will come. What I am most alarmed by is Mo's work rate and compete level. He gives up on 50/50 balls, is turning the ball over quicker, and has a hard time sustaining his initial burst. Very little creativity or guile around the edge of the box that he's shown previously. Now, I realize teams are playing him differently and closing him down quicker but he's been giving up on plays in a way that is very uncommon for him, and gives the appearance of a man that is carrying the weight of the world on his mind.

Honestly speaking, he looks like a player that is either carrying a serious knock that he doesn't want to disclose for fear of letting his teammates down or he is supremely distracted by something happening off the field. This is difficult for me to say but I feel like he has given one honest half of football through the first six games he's started, and it was the second half against Tottenham. And to that point, I don't know what the answer is - to allow him to work through this or give him a game to sit and refresh. I love Mo and will support him unconditionally through his funk. First and foremost, I just want to see him happy and enjoying the game again.

Milly, Hendo & Gini take a bow you deserve it.

Not much bitching about the subs, just the timing of them
PEOPLE CRITICIZEING OUR MO FOR THROING A BOTTLE.

Mo could of thrown the bottle in temper because he just lost a bet to Bobby to score & Salha lost £10k+..maybe..
I was at the amazing nights v PSG at 6 rows back from dug outs & saw the handshake & it was in a joking humor laughing something was said between them as good banter with his mate.. I don’t know what was said to each other, so come on if you lost 10 20k you’d throw more than a bottle.
They walked off the pitch together..
Get hard behind our team our Liverpool & we shall be living our dreams..

Don't get a head of yourself fella. Its a long hard season that we are only 6 games into. There are going to be a lot of twists and turns and we shouldnt be talking of trebles and such. Let's look no further than the next game and maybe in march or April start having these conversations

I see Nothing wrong with Salah. I suspect Klopp is playing him out of the game on purpose as great tactical thinking. Klopp knows LFC lost the euro cup because Salah was taken out.

Klopp can not let that happen ever again. This is Klopps 100% prime responsibility, no one can do this but Klopp.

I suspect what Klopp is doing is building the left wing attacking strike force, Robbo, Keita and Manny. In future when Manny gets the ball in front of the net, he will be told not to pass it, he will be told to act like a center forward and get the ball in the net. Mannys performance review will be tied to getting the ball in the net by himself. LFC team will give him the support and feeding system to accomplish mannys mission. Let’s call this the far left strike force. The problem is Keita. Robbo and Manny are 100% game play ready, but Keita needs time on the ball to learn positioning with respect to Robbo and manny. Hence if you look at all LFC past games, most of the play has been on the far left, to train Keita.

To me if Shaq ties up with Salah, then Salah could easy score 20 to 30 goals this season, without the help of Manny or Bobby. Trent must feed into Shaq and Salah. So the right wing strike force will be Trent, Shaq and Salah. Again Salah will be told to go for goal by himself, but pass when ever you can. Salah is a more delicate player then Manny, so Salah could hold the ball a few seconds longer in front of goal and make perfect one two passes.

I suspect the right wing strike force is 100% ready to go, Trent, Shaq, Salah; but Klopp does not want to use them. Because if he put them on the pitch, all the play would go to the right wing and Keita would never get developed; then we would be in the same position as the euro cup. So I suspect Klopp is holding back on Salah and the right wing strike force. Shaq has football intelligence flowing from ears, he has a natural ability to see game play. Trent , Shaq, Salah are going to be the most deadly strike force in the premier league. Shaq maybe in training to build up his running capacity and work rate, as Klopp probably wants him to run for 90 minutes like Milner.

The center strike fore attack will be natural center forward Bobby, with Sturridge being a poacher on an as required basis. They will be fed through the center by some one like Hendo. Importantly, we will see Keita and Shaq run diagonally, so either could feed any of the front 3 strikers Manny will focus on left corner 6 yard box; Salah right corner 6 yard box, Bobby and Sturridge through the center.

These 3 strike forces are going to Rain total Chaos on every team, home and away, at the end of every game the opposition will be thinking; What the F—K What that About ! Bit like when Roma came to Anfield ! 5 nil wins will be the norm !

What’s that song,

We are never going to stop—— We won the F—cking lot,

Allez, Allez , Allez,

This squad is probably the best that ever played at Anfield, Klopp could be another Shankly,

We may see 10 to 15 years of Glory at Anfield

Think about it, Neymar, Mabby and Cavani combined could hardly get a strike on goal.

Imagine if we would have had our 3 strike forces in full flight

The future looks bright ........... with silver

I am still waiting for Robertson to be given the proper recognition he deserves. He's barely had a bad game. His crosses and forward play is sublime. And he's good at defending to the point he can keep who is probably the next best player in the world quiet.

And you're right about us becoming more attractive as a club. Now we're dominating in CL again, all these top players see their team here be intimated by the atmosphere, be pressed to fuck on the pitch, then at the end of that 90 minutes of hell with their hands on their knees they see Klopp run to all the Liverpool players and give them a hug leaving a big cheesy grin on their faces.

I think it is more likely he was just frustrated at himself for putting his teammates in that position in the first place.

Nothing wrong with Mo. Get a grip people. He's being marked a lot tighter this year. Naturally that means others are getting more space and goals.

If this was Mo's first 6 games for us we would be content. 2 goals and 2 assists is it?

Mo doesn't need another 45 goal season. 25 will do with a bag full of assists. It's a team game. No need for a single player to take all the pressure.

It's also still early in the season. Wait till we get fully into it.
