We've seen rock solid defense and midfield performance from Liverpool tonight. The front players as a whole were terrible though, especially Salah.Personally,i have always preferred last-min wins over any other type of win,so it was maaagnificent at the end,i slapped the table so hard and so many times after Firmino scored,my palms are still red LoL.Forward we go !
Edit: VVD,Wijnaldum,Milner,Robertson were all great but i am going to vote for Firmino,we owe that last moment to him :)

PSG are just a collective of individuals, they don't play for the team they play for themselves.

They might win the French league by 100 points every season but they'll never do fuck all in Europe.

Would be lol if they ended up in the europa league this season.

Great win. :celebrating:

Reminded me of the Spurs game, we were the dominant team and in control for the vast majority of the match. The only player who didn't impress me was Salah.

Thought the midfield was superb. Lovely way to win a game. From disappointment to elation in seconds. Wonderful stuff, loved Bobby's celebration.

MOTM for me. Wijnaldum
I went with Gini, too.

But srsly...could've gone to four or five. Some great performances.

Man of the match? Milner, Henderson and Robertson. Take your pick from those three. Henderson shut every passes down with ease, Milner chased every single player with possession down, and Robertson is now worth at least £80m after marshalled Mbappe out of the match till he needs to switch side to score. Three standout players throughout the match.

Sturridge worked very hard, the hardest I've seen him worked for the team and that's a good sign. Mane too worked extremely hard, while Salah is way off his game. Wijnaldum, other than the first goal which he was caught ball watching a bit, was good. Alexander-Arnold shuts Neymar down the entire match. Got all the freedom in the world on his side of the pitch which he should have capitalised. Need to work on his decision making a little bit more. Gomez was superb defensively and Van Dijk at times are too fancy for me. Alisson needs to whack the ball up field more.

Salah, oh Salah. Can someone ring up the coaching staff and tell him to forget last season. Start from scratch. He is trying way too hard, way too hard to try to emulate what he did last season. That is eating into his game. Sloppy pass that nearly cost us 2 points. Firmino came to the rescue fortunately! What a strike....

And....

Was Neymar even playing? Didn't even bother to play the entire match, expects everyone to lay down that red carpet all the Ligue Un teams do in their league matches. Welcome to Anfield punk... now you are playing among the men, not boys! He left Barcelona so that he won't be outshone by Messi, and not wanting to be in Messi's shadow. That he did, he is not even worthy of the Argentine's shadow. The day where Messi scored a hattrick, Neymar registered 1 shot on goal and 1 assist. £200m? Fuck no.... You may have all the skills and talent, but nothing can substitute hardwork!

I have to say the referee is shit, that Salah's goal. How was that a foul when Sturridge got to the ball first. Heard of momentum? And how did PSG first goal stand when Cavani was clearly offside. That is the same side of the pitch where our goal was disallowed and their goal stood - That official at the byline is a fucking joke. Someone needs to check the Panama papers to see if his name appears and any money flowing in from Qatar.

We have 3 points - 7 more to go and 5 more matches to go. Next stop Napoli, and before that, let's get Soton and Chelsea out of the way. :celebrating:

Nice impersonation of (one-eyed) Bobby there eddie. Wijnaldum was absolutely superb tonight. Credit where credit’s due mun! ;-)

They have no competition in France. When they lose the ball they don’t have to chase back as the other team are so poor it comes right back. They’ll never win CL.

We are being very wasteful in the attacking zones...I think Klopp will be quite angry with attacking play for the week. good luck Southampton
That's what I'm looking forward to...

Mo getting 4 against a fairly shit side and blowing out some cobwebs...

I am worried about Salah, he didn't have a good game and he has generally been below par recently, not sure what is going in his head, he also has the problems with Egyptian FA. I hope Klopp re-motivates him or rests him a bit.

In the land of the blind, the one eyed man is king. Cheers to my second favorite Red of all time, Bobby Legend. More Bobby shirts, I say.

If not for him that whole midfield would be splitting man of the match. Insane work rate, quality, and desire.

He was celebrating. Lineker and co trying to suggest that but u could see him with arms in air before :celebrating:
Yeah something I can't seem to grasp, he was excited that he didn't cost us the points and clear as sky was happy to see us win. Don't know why everyone other than our own fans (well some seemed to like these spat crap) seemed to be looking for some kind of issues that isn't there between the trio.

What a game!!! 6th win on the trot in all competitions but we need to ring the changes to give a couple of players some breathers. I'm referring to Salah in particular. I'd bring Shaquiri in, along with Fabiano and Clyne for the Southampton game. Rest a few and get ready Chelsea X 2 next week.

Don't worry, honestly...he's just come off one of the best individual seasons you'll ever see...had a shite summer...there was always gonna be a bit of a let down after the injury and the other troubles...

Quality doesn't disappear...plus he's a worker...Mo ain't gonna drop his bundle, I promise ya.

He's frusturated because he can not get exactly what he wants which is the wonderful times he had last season, the more he fails at it the worse he gets.Tonight that peaked and Salah was the worst player on the pitch. We might see a lot of Shaqiri over the next couple of games.

I thought he played well until he started coming deep to help the defense and attempting those stupid passes to Wijnaldum. I would have prefered to see Wijnaldum where Salah was and Salah where Wijnaldum was. At that point I think Salah was tired and Klopp should have put Shaquiri on earlier.
Salah will start scoring soon he's not far off.

I checked in and saw approximately 153 posts from you and didn’t feel like wasting my time.

Are you saying the whole of Merseyside is full of Mr Magoos? Or just the blue half?

Thing about Mo...he's had chances.

I probably would be worried if he hadn't but he's had plenty. He's getting into the spots, he's just a bit off.

The damn will burst and we'll all be like...

What, me worry?
