I want our home unbeaten run to last for the rest of the millennium, so I can say I've never seen us lose to the Ev at home in my entire time of supporting Liverpool. Eventually that record will be such an anchor around their neck that they will be a quivering wreck every time they have to come play us.

if someone has already posted about it, ..........sorry,!
one more thing I really liked about the game was the kit. Seeing the club world champions badge on the jerseys looked very sexy (for want of a nicer word) Real pity we can't wear it for ALL the games we play.

Ok, however he wants to win and hates losing. I would like us to rest strong just to rub it in a bit. Chelsea, Arsenal and Shitteh would be good games to win. :)
Well yeah I'm not suggesting he would go away to Man City with a bunch of kids, but if we have a key CL game midweek and Burnley at home on the weekend then that seems like a great chance to mix it up a little.

Mason Holgate and Seamus Coleman arguing with a 8 year old going down the tunnel. Can’t remember the link but seen it on a website if you want to have a look.

I don't think Klopp could care less about an invincible season plus I think he has faith in the youngsters that they'll win anyway.
Correct. Sort of. By definition he cares about winning every game, but only retrospectively will invincible season mean anything to the team and then if Klopp talks about it for one second in the summer and we have lost a game, there's always next season to improve on this one.

Just listened to The Guardian podcast reviewing our game.

The question of "combined XI" was changed to "combined squad" and I still think they were too generous to Everton.

They would have Pickford on the bench over Adrian (struggle to find a single LFC fan who agrees).

I think that was it.

I would. Don't understand the whole MotM hype for him at all. He got two shots and a header on goal. The shots were not soft but straight at him and he only were able to stop them with is feet giving away a rebound and the header was soft and straight at him and still he could not hold on to the ball.

If you are a professional goalkeeper and you could not have stopped those attempts........ No, I take Pickford for our bench all the time.

I think Pickford has proven time and time again that he shouldn't be playing Premier League football.

Seriously?
Adrian as a second choice is still better than Pickford.
He would have let in those two Adrian saved with his feet.
Adrian is our second choice, what do you want from him?

I saw that video as well,
Apparently the 8 year started the argument by telling the Everton players it would have been 2 nil if he had been playing! :)

I was just explaining why I did not untherstood why people saw him as MoTM. IMHO he did not nearly enough for that, much better candidates for that title on that night. (Williams, Lallana, Gomez)
Did not see a reaction to convince me otherwise

re-watched the game and I was actually happy with Everton's playing attitude, because dirty fouls didn't creep into their game even after they were behind. And I also liked that they didn't put any pressure on us in the second half especially after going a goal down, because it meant that our lads could enjoy playing football, therefore no squeaky bum time.
wish other teams could copy that attitude when it comes to playing us only, thus reducing injuries and fatigue for our players and we could never end the sequence of winning.
no, I am not smoking but dreaming regarding the last sentence.

I’ve said before that I think Adrian is a superb second keeper. I do agree that Everton put all those chances straight at him, though.

Pickford over Adrian? Not a fucking chance. Not only is Pickford utter shite, his attitude is awful which is a hugely important attribute in a reserve keeper.

Adrian to Dutch is like Henderson to ChicagoRed. From the player thread (this isn't selective, this is every post of his until I got bored of looking on the third page in):

Did not like the way he reacted with the Pukki goal one bit, nor do I like the way stays down with his arm stretched when a ball goes past him. That reminds me of the worst goalkeeper Ajax once had, Fred Grim.

I just got used to, it must be an exceptional effort to beat Becker, to OMG what will happen next.
He did alright yesterday but to me, he is an accident waiting to be happening, can't wait until Becker is back.
He has an absolutely horrible reaction time. Becker would have saved their second goal easily and with his feet/in the air, he is not much better. Can't wait to see him where he belongs: on the bench.
Good that people are happy with him as a second goalkeeper, I'm not and I thank God that tomorrow will be his last game in goal for a while, let's hope he will not fuck up again and it will cost us dearly.
City, Romero, has a much better goalkeeper. Mignolet has a much better reaction time. again you guys can be happy with him as a second goalie, I'm not we must do better and we are lucky that Becker soon will be back because with Adrian in goal is waiting for a disaster.
For whatever reason he can't stand the guy and can see nothing positive in him, ever. I just don't get it.
