Is he not referring to us at all? If he's having a go at his own club, well, some supporter he is. He should calm down and take a chill pill.
The rant starts with him talking about the fourth goal, and how the character of the team just is weak. He says 'and Roma', and then it is a good 20 seconds of swearing before he makes another point. No intensity, no concentration, no effort. I can understand his anger actually - beforehand, a large part of my pessimism was rooted in the fact that they would be so supremely prepared to ensure they did not repeat the fiasco of Roma. Instead, they came out with a really insipid performance, and really disjointed tactics.

Sorry all, the post was meant to be a joke, and while I was writing it, it seemed like a joke, which highlighted the fact that it will most likely not read as a joke, which made me think I should add a smiley face at the end, which I swear I did! I am 52 so I should have known better, as you folks older than me are overly sensitive, BOOM, just got in another jab.

I don’t think any poster would come on here after such a miraculous game, just to antagonize anyone, even now. Once again sorry.

Edit: smiley face used from iPad doesn’t show up on posts, damn technology.

Hi No Bluff,

Sorry for the delay in responding but I have not visited the site for some time. (Too disappointed after the Premiership outcome !,)

I took your post as a joke and my whippersnapper response was intended to be a Montegue Burns joke reply.

So no apology required to me.

If Scousers cant take the piss then my Liverpool would soon be a very silent and dull place and become much like everywhere else ! God forbid !!

So keep taking the piss.

Cheers

David

but like one guy in the studio said "the second is the most important, then the third goes it by itself"
That is just complete nonsense. If the 1st doesn't go in none go in!
Also just look at the boost Gerrards and Origi's goals gave. That's what carried everything else on. The most important goal is always the 1st. Even if your talking about a season the 1st goal defines so much score in your 1st game even if you lose the game you know you can score and you feed off it!

I love it when massive stars come to Anfield talking down the atmosphere. I’m sure they all think they’ve played in World Cup finals, Champions Leagues, and all that, so how hard can it be.

And all of them look shell shocked after 15mins

I don’t know... I’m sure his dad can afford something nice with the money he saved through tax fraud.

he probably can afford just about anything his son wants,

except the heart and desire of our Andy Robertson.

you cant buy that....

that is priceless.

This video truly is a labour of love of the game: Recreation (close enough!) of the night at Anfield using FIFA '19 video game. The audio is in Spanish, no secondary audio commentary though lol:

Has that Arturo clown donated his useless cojones yet, as he boastfully pledged he will should LFC beat (the hell out of) them at Anfield?
We had and still will be talking about 6 whilst his 2 should be zero by now. lol

Its a strange one, i am from Birmingham so the pub was considerably less busy than the first leg as it was considered a dead rubber. I am renowned for my passion when Liverpool play and am called scouse Daz, it was joked that I scored the Mane header against City last season in the CL as i was already 4ft in the air and nodding it in.
With that game against Barca as mentioned it was less busy but there were still the locals and a group of friends mainly B’ham city fans whom i had converted to being LFC fans or at least their 2nd team.
I, like alot of Liverpool fans, knew if any club could do it would be us. But the fact we had to score 3/4 without conceding against a Messi inspired Barca meant it was optimism at its best.
See, the majority of the you, the forum members are based in Liverpool so when you go the pub to watch the game you are not in the minority. What i witnessed in that game against Barca is that the majority of neutral fans want to see a good game, an underdog (it was similar the 2nd Spurs/City game). What i remember was the 3rd goal was celebrated more than the 4th mainly because it came so quick after the 2nd and because of the audacity of the 4th - did that just happen, was it legal, is it going to be disallowed.
I think my answer to the journalists piece is that I agree, I am still coming to terms with it, listen to the BBC coverage daily. However, us Liverpool fans have what many outsiders call an unrealistic expectation/belief almost rose tinted/foolish. But fortunately what our great club has demonstrated so often is that if you get a manager/team/community that all believe then anything is possible!
What i have witnessed from the Barca game is how much Klopp and our current team/style has been accepted and admired by the neutral, whether they are a football fan or not!
