Massive 3 points and a solid performance to boot. Slightly disappointing that we didnt get another 2 or 3 because the opportunity was there. It would have been nice to pull back some of the goal difference City have over us.

Would love to give a more in depth analysis, but the Mrs picked kick off time to carry on like a fucking lunatic and ruin the match for me. However, from what I saw, Gini was fantastic and his goal was sublime. Thought Salah looked dangerous too. Keita still a little quiet against a poor Bournemouth, but by no means was he bad.

Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp, speaking to MOTD:
"We were not happy with the performances from the previous two games and struggled a bit with set-pieces. There were a lot of things we had to improve.

"We have had injuries and fit players who have become ill overnight on the day before a game.

"We have high expectations and today we won in an impressive manner - we had some outstanding performances on the pitch. Goal number three was world-class.

"We wanted to show a reaction. It's out job not only to come through but to really perform and convince."

On Georginio Wijnaldum: "He didn't sleep in the team hotel last night. He had diarrhoea and vomiting two nights earlier so he couldn't come to the team hotel."

On Liverpool's fans: "Supporters get a little bit nervous for all sorts of reasons. That's not a Liverpool thing - it's a football thing."

He didn’t get the goal I predicted, but I thought Naby was exceptional today. Fabinho and Wijnaldum both superb as well. Has the makings of a truly elite midfield three.
Like I wrote earlier, I think the 'three muskateers' now have a very closely-linked destiny this season. Jordan will play in half of the next 6 games though I reckon.

Good performance.
Blew any cobwebs away there. Just what was needed.
Keita had a good game, hopefully this midfield trio can play a sequence of games now. Keita and Wijnandum looked like a good blend.
Also matip looked good.

Big games coming up for us now.
Let’s hope Chelsea get something tomorrow...

United winning today helps us as Chelsea will want to keep up with them in the race for top four.

Solid all around title contender performance
Better than Bournemouth in every facet of the game
God bless Bournemouth for coming to play football and not park a bus
Also, I have to admit - I get turned on by the way we (led by Fabinho, but aided and abetted by Milner and others) are more regularly hurting opponents physically
More of this please coaching staff and players through the end of the season
Can we add a "team performance" to the MOTM poll?

I love this man
I try to emulate his demeanor in my own life (weird cause he's younger than me)
I'm so glad that I met him - he's a force of nature
And on that note I got to see LeBron James (investor in Liverpool along with Fenway Sports and contender for basketball GOAT) play this week - also a force of nature

That's the midfield I've wanted to see all season. Gini was fucking brilliant, and Keita starting to show some form. Bring it fucking on, and c'mon the Chavs tomorrow.
Salah motm . Back on the right he sees so much more of the ball and he was an absolute menace all afternoon. That's the way we should be playing now til the end of the season.
I've been wanting to see that midfield all season as well, and was discussing the other day with a friend about it, after Keita's encouraging last few performances - he's definitely on the up. Also about Salah on the right and Firmino back to spearhead and press high, I was pointing out how we needed that back, and was very happy to see the deployment. Was immediately confident we'd be back to wins (ok, as soon as Allisson saved that Frazer shot, tbh). Like a wish come true when I saw us play! Exactly what I was wishing for, and worked like a charm!

Here's a link to that discussion I mentioned (instead of copy pasting my thoughts here), posts under username "Antonis":
Edit: Link doesn't work, anyone can help with how to upload a couple of screenshots of the two posts? Can't seem to work it out... :/

Btw, special mention to the importance of a clean sheet today (maybe even more important than if we had scored a 4th and 5th but had conceded), we need to make it secure like that again! But yeah, Gini my MOTM!

Comedy gold from Eddie Howe saying that without a goal that was “half a yard offside,” Bournemouth could have gotten something. Could have been 8-0, lad.
And it wasn’t offside! If Howe knew the rules of the game, he’d realise that before opening his gob! Manes arm was slightly ahead of the defender and the rules state that is not offside.

Milner's fine season
Liverpool 3-0 Bournemouth

Liverpool's James Milner has provided more assists in this Premier League season - four in 21 appearances - than he did in the 2017-18 season (3 in 32 appearances)
