Lovren - Unbelievably immense. His first EPL match back...and against M City.
Gomez - Flexibly immense. Switches positions and plays damn well, especially defensively.
Henderson - Tirelessly immense. MOTM performance from the captain. One of the best DM performances of the season by anyone.

Brilliant point, very happy, most of us were resigned to a 0-1 for a few seconds weren't we?

The front 3 are a concern, thought they were poor once again.

Lovren my MOTM, showing that he is clearly a bloody good defender. Gomez was also excellent in the 2nd half and signs of improvement from Keita.Becker excellent as usual.

Thank you Mahrez. Well done Redmen, a point gained in the end.

Im very happy with that result in the grand scheme of things, it was a game we couldn’t lose thats for sure. We are off form, we look tired (bar the first 10 minutes today). It was a huge improvement over Napoli, but just not enough. City are one of the best teams in world football so to keep them to very few chances shows how far we’ve come.

Pep (following Ancelottis lead and Sarri before him) cut out our passing lanes and it completely stifles us building to the attack.

Thought Henderson was utterly fantastic, the bias/agenda against him is just embarrassing from some of our fan base.

Keita is struggling massively, was invisible when he came on.. the less said about Mane the better, worst performance from him Ive seen.

Props to Gomez and Van Dijk (penalty aside) who were excellent again.

To be joint top of the league on 20 points, and having played 3 of the top 6 and come away with 5 from 9 points including 2 away games is brilliant.. Even better considering we aren’t playing well, especially our forwards.

Now to reset the batteries mentally and physically over the international break and hopefully integrate more players to be options and take the load off.

P.s. Fernandinho is one of the snidest fucking twats ever, how he doesn’t get carded is a joke.

On that showing, we have 3 quality CBs ready for action.

Gomez had to take the fall today and play right back, but he did so admirably.

Felt we lacked any cutting edge really and our link up play from midfield to front 3 appears non-existent, But i also feel thats down to how well City marked us out of the game.

Probably fair result, we did push, and i think Naby had a decent game once he got into it, hopefully he will get some prolonged game time now and cement his place in the team.

We now move into the international break and come back with some games where we can assert ourselves.

10 next fixtures are Huddersfield, Red Star Belgrade, Cardiff, Arsenal, Red Star Belgrade, Fulham, Watford, PSG, Everton and Burnley.

We needed to rest our front 3 against Napoli. You could see the intent and energy was there for the first 10 minutes of each half but then we tired badly.

We need to use Sturridge and Shaqiri more.

It's been a tough run of fixtures. Got the international break to recoup some energy and discover that attacking form.

An opportunity to get in front of City has been missed. Still plenty to play for though.

Pissing myself at Mahrez. Took the pen of Jesus, skies it. Legend.
He didn't sky it on purpose, he was up against Alisson, fucker got a bit scared and not wanting his pen to be saved.

Our front line needs sorting out. Our midfield needs sorting out in terms of attack. Our defence is all good for now. Our pressing was non-existence after 10 minutes into the match. Salah had two good chances, the old Salah would have buried it. We just don't have someone from midfield that could do a Gerrard or a Coutinho this season. No shots outside the box. Keita been a pedestrian for a couple of games now, he needs to step up. He looked a little overwhelmed.

Klopp has a lot of work to do in the international break. First thing we need to do is to go to Chechnya and asked for our real Salah back. He went to that freaking Chechen boss place and never looked the same after. I am convinced we got a lousy clone back. I want the original back in place for next two weeks time.

We gained 2 points from last season. Man City gained 2 from last season. We lost to Chelsea and Spurs away, we won one and drew the other, so that's 4 points up. We then lost 2 here. So we have gained 2 points from our last season tally, we are still in good position. Now easy fixtures coming up, thrash the fuck out of everyone!

For all the talk about Henderson not going to win us the league, and shit like that. Watch this bloody match. He won't win it for us, but he certainly not going to lose it for us! My man of the match. Lovren came in close second.
