I suppose it's just good manners on their part considering we probably said thank you after selling Coutinho to them.

Wonder how he feels now?
I would say both Barca and Couts feel as though they have been well and truly shafted by us. Who cares, though, we'll go merrily on to bigger and better things, like defending our Champions Cup and winning the Prem next season.

Sounds like the theme to the USA TV show 'The Monkees', but hey, I'm just being picky. They are still good lyrics.
Correct, it is The Monkey's Theme tune.

ETA: I have just re-read the whole pre-match thread again. Omg! We were all a bundle of nerves and stress. Old habits die hard. The best bit was the final page 51.

Yeah there is somebody out there who is head of player recruitment for Barcelona. I bet his annual appraisal will be fun this year.

There's been so much happening here and on YouTube this week, my music stats on Last FM took a huge hit this week. Down 86% compared to the previous week. My hordes of followers have been complaining, if 12 counts as a horde ;-)

seems like I am not the only one, everyday it's been reading about our team and watching loads and loads and loads and loads of videos.

thank you to all of ye for your theart-warming comments and videos. We could unite the world, as we are already doing it in sporting terms. Don't really care what other club fans think or say about us, because we are more than that. I don't think, rather I do believe we have the best supporters on the planet, probably on Mars, too.

cannot pen all my thoughts because I am still in the clouds of euphoria, and don't want to come down ever, until we never stop winning.
on a side note, anyone who smiles brings warmth, but Gini has a very infectious smile. Kudos to the Dutch national team for the gracious welcome given to our lads, Gini and van Dijk. hopefully the other lads also got a warm welcome from their national teams.

.......and in that galaxy far far away as well.

I left the board sometime after the Westham match, the stress wasn’t doing my depression any good, always planned to return after the season ended but that was extended, and what an end, it’s been a week and I am still proud of wearing my red shirt out and about and proud of the boys.

Crap final but great end to the season it felt better than 2005, not sure why, it’s felt like a journey with Klopp and so many of the players feel more attached, I guess that lies with the manager. I think we will go on now, I expect the title eventually but I wouldn’t bet against us returning next year either. This team feels like a team, no obsession over star players or one player who makes it all tick, we’ve got quality throughout after all we were missing two of our best players and beat Barca 4-0.

@Alright Now I am still waiting for the tattoo you promised.
indianscouser in bold with 6 stars.
Thanks again :celebrating:
I just replied to your seventh text message on my phone today (after I ignored your first six). We had technical difficulties. My appointment is now set for next week. I am looking into making this a pay per view event and the initial feedback has been overwhelmingly positive. I will host a presser to announce the logistics. Stay tuned.

And don’t text me again for the rest of the day. Thanks.
