Never in doubt.

In a season of ugly wins, this was Ann Widdecombe. We were well below form and Watford, to their credit, huffed and puffed and would have blown our house down if they knew how to finish.

Fortunately, a couple of moments of magnificent Mo magic made the difference. Just as well, as we were generally shite in the final third. Sadio’s disallowed header did look offside but it was very close. So much for LiVARpool, eh?

Let’s hope that Gini’s injury isn’t too serious, although every cloud has a silver lining and it could give Baby an opportunity to string together a run of games.

MOTM: my pizza delivery boy, for actually getting here on time. For once.

Yet again a horrible scrap against a team which definitely benefitted from a new-manager bounce.

And yet again, our lads found a way. Three more points. What. a. run! (y)

Mom obviously Salah, but mentions to Mané who looked brilliant and would have deserved his goal, and to Allisson for keeping us in the game at a crucial moment.

what is this....3 clean sheets in a row. Where are the 5-2s, 4-3s, 2-1s....

Anyway we can do without an "injury crisis" now. Hope Gini's injury is not serious but if anything had popped inside there, it would be a reasonably long one and would make Takumi's signing more important.

Another 3 points! Get in !! Brilliant, we are relentless, so consistent. We are as close to unstoppable a team as there is.Soon to be confirmed as the best team in the world. This season is shaping up to be a marvellous one. Loving this. Play shite and win. That's how much we have developed and matured as a side.

Gini out, mini in! No need to be stressed about his injury, break will do him the world of good.

Thought Gomez was terrific. 3 clean sheets on the bounce. 17 points clear of City.

We are winning the league aren't we?

Well done Redmen. Making us all so proud. Back on our perch, are you watching Fergie?

The champions of Europe march on.

We got the job done. Thank fuck for that. The kind of game that gets very, very quickly forgotten, but also the kind of game that forges champions.

On another matter, when are Liverpool going to start selling defibrillators on the team store? If it pays for Mbappe I'm all for it.

Maybe the weirdest match I've ever seen at Anfield - we should have slipped , because we afforded Watford a world of chances.
They didn't take them though.

Mo motm for the crucial and nice goals that made the difference - nice to give it to him again after quite some time.

...

Seriously though - how did Watford NOT score????
