Not surprised. What won us this game was the pressing off the ball in the first half. Everton players were always under pressure and unable to do anything with the ball.

Exactly, and coupled with the ref allowing the game to flow it's been great to see. Everton have completed almost twice as many passes but to no avail......

I may go home and have a short weep of joy after this match. Then another pint or 6

I sincere hope BR feels vindicated after this match. Still need another CM..

Cissokho should never be in that list, nor should Flano (who did well, not outstanding though). Impossible to choose between the remaining four though. Each did very well in his own way.

People really criticising Cissokho tonight?

Not good enough but has been absolutely fine tonight.

Not the time to criticise anybody imo.

Sturridge needed to be reeled in a bit. That was pretty poor. Agree that its a bit of a damper though. We don't need the Chelsea/Man City Sturridge making a come back. But this squad doesn't win if they don't play for each other. And Suarez and Sturridge don't make sense together if they don't play unselfishly. Hat trick or not. Nothing that can't be solved in the locker room though. Just hope it keeps Sturridge's confidence high.

absolutely fucking right. 3rd string LB shows up to play and does a job. I would buy him a pint myself, Coutinho gets the next one

Everton 0 is a mighty stat and one I'll be waxing lyrical about later. But MOTM?
