Excited! lets go and enjoy every game this season and give our best.
My team would be:

.......................Alisson.......................
Clyne....Gomez....VVD.......Robertson
...............Fabinho.....Wijnaldum.......
..........................Keita...................
Mane.................Firmino..........Salah

Get the ball 3 rolling, 3 points please. My prediction, 2:0. Mane & Salah.

I quite like what West Ham have done in the window. I think that we will have them just at the right time. To many new players and the settling in period will cost them points.

Pelligrini is a cracking choice as manager and they WILL pick up points from the so called top 6.

Well here we are again.

So much depth now, so much talent.

Looking forward to this season kicking off with a win, decent goal difference and no injuries or silly red cards.

Love to see a solid clean sheet match.

3-0 too optimistic?

I think we may have a slight problem with who to play at the #6. Fabinho could miss the start of the season due to injury picked up on Tuesday against Torino and Henderson has only had a week of training. Milner too might miss the match after the head wound he received against Napoli. So if they are all out then Gini or Keita would have to start at the #6 with the other as the #8. Lallana or Shaqiri as the other #8/#10 might also happen.

I think the front 3 and back 5 are set. Alisson, Clyne(for now), Gomez(for now, otherwise Lovren) VVD, Robertson. Mane, Firmino and Salah up top.

Will Hendo be shown the faith that he's kept himself fit all summer to start a proper match after only 2 preseason appearances? How serious is Fabs' injury? All I know is I can't wait till Sunday!

Hi, I'm new to these forums and wasn't sure where to post this but here seemed reasonably suitable.

I was wondering if anyone watches the matches via NowTV? I've had BT Sport (via a YouView player) for a couple of years and have never had any issues streaming matches but the sports channels where never available on its NowTV player. I had to buy a new telly in the Summer (nothing to do with the World Cup - the old one blew up) and it has a full NowTV player built into it.

I'm interested in this offer (https://www.nowtv.com/watch-sky-sports-online) which is the whole football season for £179. It's not cheap but it means I could now watch most of Liverpool's league games. The question is, is NowTV reliable over a fibre broadband connection? What I am worried about is spending a load of money on something that is no better than some illegal download.

I'd appreciate any views - particularly if you have experience of it. Otherwise, I suppose its down to the pub for Sunday lunch to see the game.

Going by that and my feeling, think we might go with this:
Alisson
Clyne Gomez vDijk Robertson
Milner Wijnaldum Keita
Salah Firmino Mane

Subs: Karius, Matip, Moreno, Fabinho, Lallana, Shaqiri, Sturridge.

Obviously we might try and push Fabinho in, also to add more height to our team compared to West Ham. Klopp talked about us giving Napoli a bit too much space in that first half and that's when Gini played #6. Fabinho looked better when he came on in that game + played well against Torino again. So that's probably where we have our biggest doubts. Feel Milner might get the advantage to bring more security to start with. Bench looks strong though we'll have a couple waiting in line if any of those are out of the 18.

Cant wait.

Got 2 tickets in the Kop and 1 seat in the Annie Road - unfortunately a restricted view seat (Is Big Sam sitting in front of me?).
Will give the Kop tickets to my kids (though they are 18 and 15, not really kids), and I'll have to be the opposite end.

Don't care what team Kloppo puts out - it'll work. Lets get this on, and smash them with that swashbuckling football we are blessed to witness.

Think Mane will do the damage. And lets get a pen in front of the Kop so its all done.

Did I say I can't wait....

I know we'll score enough. The clean sheet for our new keeper and the back five is the main priority. In other words 2-0 is better than 4-1.

Will be having my coffee at the pub bright and early (8:30 am) Sunday, ready to kick off this marvelous season with the LFC mates there! Would much rather be in person at Anfield with you all, of course, but we'll have to do with some long-distance cheering. Let's go to it, lads!

I'll just take any 3 points to be honest, just to get us going - but a clean sheet would be nice. But if you offered me 5-4 now, I'd take it. Pre match nerves are settling in....

England. Came back late due to going to last weekend of World Cup. Klopp will play someone else while he gets up to speed. Almost there. Same with Hendo and Lovren.
Thanks. He did feature in preseason and looked sharp, so thought he would join in right away like Bobby. Nonetheless, Clyne is superb cover one can ask for, for young Trent; so no point rushing him :-)

I think there’s only 4 players who, if fit, I am sure will start:

Alisson
van Dijk
Mane
Salah

If Hendo and Bobby are fully fit, refreshed and up to speed I’d add those to the above four but it seems that Hendo isn’t being considered. After that I’m prepared for anything.

We go again!
Really looking forward to this season and doing sme serious damage to the morale of some other clubs.
Down the M62 and Chelsea for starters.
But first things first, don’t expect an easy run from WH,but we should have enough firepower to get the 3 points here.

I'll add Robertson to the above list @Fester Another one in my book who is nailed on starter.
You’d think so wouldn’t you ........ but its just the sort of curved ball selection that Klopp might come up with because Moreno’s sheer continued presence at Anfield is a bit of a mystery to me yet it looks like he’s here to stay.

Matip and Klavan both out, Gomez and Fabinho doubts. 4 players who should have been fit and raring to go having had fuck all to do all summer. Lovren unavailable so we're possibly going into the game with one fit CB. Some things never fucking change.

But we have Van Djik, TAA, Gomez and Robertson and Alisson which is good.

Milner has returned to training this week and should be able to feature with the wound heavily strapped.

Klopp said: "He should be okay. He is working with a headband, all of them different colours and all of them suit him! lol

Klopp is hopeful that Joe Gomez will recover in time to line up alongside Virgil van Dijk at centre-back.
