Liverpool had 36 shots on goal -Since 2003-04, this is the most shots Man Utd have faced in a single Premier League game.

Mark Thompson: As a United fan, that was the most painful match I've ever sat through. Seeing Liverpool doing everything right and United going the opposite direction... embarrassing times. Mourinho out, NOW.

Here comes Jose Mourinho to face the cameras.
"We couldn't cope with their fantastic intensity," he starts...

I am in a blur still, how did we do it again? I thought it would be a tight affair with a scrappy 1-0 or deary 0-0 or 1-1.

The best thing we can say about today, which points to something you said right after it happened - their goal produced no sense of panic in me. The only thought was "shit, ok just carry on and lets get the lead back". And the players never looked like they reacted any different.
Thoroughly professional performance against a mid-table side.

I feel a hangover coming on. We all know what that meant.

Utd desperate for a win so almost came to play but battered them from start to finish. One fumble, one goal versus more shors than anyone ever, so massively deserved.

The gulf in class between their Fellaini sub and our Shaq one. Almost motm for a sub for the second time in a season but this time Fan the midfield monster has it.

Love the way Kloppo gives his players ages to settle. Much more to come from Fan, Keita and Heighway / Shaqiri.
