Players looked tired against Wolves, so some rotation necessary. But only a few - we can make wholesale changes for the Cup game.
There isnt really much we can do. Despite everyone feeling so sorry for City with their inevitable struggles due to injuries, we're actually down to just 13 senior outfield players at the moment. It will be 14 once Takumi is available.

"All in a good way, but of the long-term injuries, nobody is back. Ox, Joel, Fabinho are still out. Shaqiri and Lovren look good but they're not ready yet. Still need some time. It'll be the same group as last time."

"I know the transfer window is open! It's always tricky, but we probably will not be too busy. We will see what happens but it isn't likely."

You’ve obviously never been to @Scott Jones ’s house ;)
You obviously never got out of the room with the fridge in it. The other rooms are completely germ free though the 6 inches of dust can be quite disconcerting if you've a women in your house. (Disclaimer - if anyone takes that as offensive to women then they haven't understood I really miss not having my daughter living under the same roof as me). ;)

I'm a bit unhappy we have to play our 20th game tomorrow. I'd just like the number of games in hand we have to get bigger and all the while keep our 10 point lead.
As it is, it looks like we started with a two game handicap to make things interesting and it wasn't nearly enough of a head start to give the others.

If we’re down to only 13 outfield players , does that mean we’ll only have 3 plus Adrian on the bench ?

Just shows how a few injures can decimate our squad .
We’ve five to choose from that play in midfield , and one of those Milner is utility player and back up full back .
We need no more injures .

Been watching Sheff Utd all season with interest--after watching them all last season in Championship. They are a curious side--compact...aggressive...controlled. They were fitting for Championship quality, but did not think they would be this fit in PL.

As Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid asked each other: "Who are those guys?"

ITS MATCHDAY!

Found myself humming to Rings of Fire as I made breakfast. When it happens without knowing. Love it.

Daughter has got a job at Nando's (At Uni) - so we will pop in there today as she gets 40% off. For those that don't know, Nando's is a chain of Peri Peri Chicken restaurants - nothing to do with El Nino.

I still haven't got my 6th star done - I may now wait till May as could need another one by then.

Lets start 2020 with a bang!

Wasn't able to watch Leicester or Wolves due to familial/festive obligations, but very much looking forward to watching it tonight.

I say looking forward, what I'll likely be doing is getting extremely stressed and anxious before a wave of relief at the full-time whistle, but hopefully it will be a good game.

Sheffield United are no mugs and hopefully we take it seriously and put out as strong a team as possible, the game at their place was probably our toughest game of the season so far.

On to the game, it will be difficult as I think Sheffield have the type of game to cause us problems. Fast breaks, differing tactics as in one minute slow buildup, next minute a long ball over the top, pretty much like us really. To top it off they seem to work their socks off, more than the so called top 4 currently who can normally be seen strolling back. This game is worrying me more than most, not too much because of our lead but id love to go all season unbeaten.
