Sheffield United wasted loads of time in the first half. Taylor never even told them to hurry up. Yet late on he booked Adrián. Twat of the highest order.
It's not widely known but, Manchester's Anthony "I support Altrincham, I do" Taylor has a Man Utd duvet cover.

We were also robbed of a pen. Clear and obvious pen on Mane in the box. When just moments prior Bobby was whistled for the exact same thing that resulted in a foul and free kick.

Total shithouse match. We need to widen the keyhole and look at it for what it was. We didn't play great, but Sheffield United did absolutely nothing special. Professional footballers that played compact and wanted to hit us on a counter attack. Revelatory and revolutionary football I tell ya!

I mean, they're playing Everton. Everton would have to be actively facing relegation for their fans to actually want to win this game, and even then, I'm not certain. Don't see City losing today, pressure or no.
They may be playing surrender Monkeys Everton. The fear isn't losing the fear is not winning. Anything other than a win is like losing for them.

You're not supposed to use 'surrender' any more. How about cheating cunt monkeys?

I had to turn off the volume on the BT coverage. Darren Fletcher was commenting on the Sheffield United performance like they were bossing a CL final. And Macca was refusing to be drawn on any controversial decisions. "It might have been or it might not" was his mantra all day.
Is Mrs Commando dreading Otamendi vs Richarlison?

An awful performance all round.

And poor refereeing. What’s the point of VAR
We weren't at our best, but we did put in the effort against a very disciplined side, and fought man for man in the personal battles on the pitch. When we were slightly out of shape, players like Andy were bursting a gut to get in a block, which is needed in these types of games. So a 'poor' performance is all relative.

We as fans need to get off this 'turn up and we should win' mentally. When things are not going our way, sometimes you have to win the hard way, which is waht we did.

Surprised that the last 5 minutes in regular time + 4 minutes injury time, we did not control the ball as well, and very surprised that we launched long balls into Sheffield U half.

haha it's all been a bit much today with the effusive praise for Sheffield United. All the pundits going on and on with rave and praise and plaudits for Sheffield United as if they were a League Two side defying all odds against a giant.

If I were in that side, I would be embarrassed with all of this hyperbole. Last time I looked they are a PL side that collect PL wages every week. Fantastic, they did a job they were asked to do. The hyperbole for what they just "accomplished" is a bit embarrassing.

Lost count of number of errors by TAA.

I know it’s been an ongoing issue, but we really need more technical players in midfield.
