Spurs and Chelsea for me. Arsenal back in the CL are a far more attractive option for players than a dysfunctional Chelsea in my view (even ignoring the possibility that they will remain under a transfer embargo). Spurs will still not have any money.

That could then be half of the PL CL clubs effectively removed as serious competition for the top players that may be available. United could still, of course, throw money at players and clubs to get players to join them in the EL but further exclusion from the top continental competition will hurt financially.

Same for Arsenal but because of Ozil they'll have to offer inflated wages to persuade players to join a EL club. And they've got a load of positions that they need to strengthen.

So yeah, Spurs and Chelsea for me.
Read this in dr evil voice it’s hilarious lol fuck them all

And we are discussing.
You asked who we'd prefer to see in the top 4 and the diplomatic version of what I said is, I really dont mind who finishes below us.

You should be a politician!
Tbh, I’m not used to seeing 3rd and 4th as irrelevant positions. Shows how far we have come!

Arsenal for sure. Definitely not United.

Toss up between Spuds and Chavs- I like Sarri but Chelsea have too much history of annoying us, so Spuds it is.

Man Utd.....................

in 1 of the top 4 spots for me,
in the hope that Ole gets the job full time,
then is found out next season,
and Man utd take 6 serious hidings in the Champs league,

It would be beautiful.....

As for the other spot,
i dont really care tbh!

First thought was "Anyone but united", obviously. Ole will get the job even if they miss out and hopefully he'll do shite once the bubble bursts.
If Chelsea get top 4 and they cant sign anyone that'll be good for us. Its one less prem champions league team competing for players and itll hopefully put a strain on their squad next year.
Spurs getting top 4 would be better than Arsenal as Spurs wont really be a competitor for players or the league next year either way were as I could see a top 4 Arsenal being an attractive place to go and they never do well in the champ league anyway so no fear of them winning it.

So Spurs and Chelski for me

Not trying to be overly dismissive of the conversation as I like reading everyone’s response.

However for me, as long as we are in it, don’t really care about the rest. I find joy in Man United losing games so maybe them out but the rest I could care less.

First time I would vote for United all because I want them to keep Solskjaer as their manager with a 3 year contract. The damage that would do after the feel good factor would be immense. We could see the cracks in that team. Then it's down to the three London clubs and I would prefer Chelsea. It's down to recruitment, Chelsea can't buy anyone so for them to get into Champs League would not strengthen their position even if they appoint Zidane. The biggest one is Spurs not getting in. United won't be able to pick Pochettino up since Solskjaer did better with United, Woodward won't have the balls to piss the fan base off.

As long as Utd are still in contention when they play City, thats all that matters.
At the end, don't care to be honest.
