Roger Hunt, my all-time favourite Liverpool FC player, celebrates his birthday today. Born on the 20th July 1938 at Glazebury in Lancashire, he was a prolific goalscorer for LFC, playing in 404 games for us and scoring 245 goals. He played 34 times for England and scored 18 goals and was in the winning team that won England the World Cup in 1966. He was inducted into the English Football Hall of Fame in 2006.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY SIR ROGER !!!

Sir Roger, what an unselfish player. Just how much would he be worth in today's market? Any guesses - i'll start the bidding at let's say, oh, £180 million (considering Coutinho went for £146 million), but the difference is Hunt would never leave us.....
