Want to see it confirmed at Anfield for the fans, for the City.

I'm not lucky enough to get into the games, only been to Anfield 3 times, and yes its a nice thought to win it at Woodison or Emptyhad, but that's just bitter points scoring banter nonsense.

We are above all that shit, there have been fans going to Anfield for years waiting for a season like this, fuck me they have sat through Hodgson. They deserve their day more than anyone.

It's not as though we won't have had enough point scoring opportunities by then (in both meanings of the phrase).

If we were able to do a survey on where our players would personally like to win it, do you think they would care that much about the bragging rights? Would anyone be disappointed that they didn't give a shit about what some fans seem to get their kicks out of?
I think we'd expect the two Scousers in the frame to have an opinion, but the rest?

I think I have been at Anfield on 3 occasions when we have won the league (including the last time we won) and it is special.

I don't see the attraction of winning on a rival's patch just to rub their noses in it. I can't be bothered with poor winners and that kind of gloating reeks of it. I want to win this because of us - not to wind up rivals. Ultimately, I couldn't give two hoots about their team.

Winning the league is the culmination of a year's hard work and many more years team-building. If we do win this I want as many of our fans to see it and for the whole club to be able to celebrate.

My first reaction was to win it at City, but I think it would be better to win it at Anfield.

Ultimately though I don't care where or when, just win the damn thing.
That would have been my exact thought had the question been asked at the start of the season or a couple of months earlier. But today, as things stand, I would prefer we win at home. I want to hear Anfield roar at the full time whistle. Although I can't experience that myself live, it would amazing experiencing it on TV with close to full volume.

As it stands, if we take Leicester out of the equation - we only have to match city’s next 8 results. Doesn’t mean we have to WIN the next 8.... but I get the feeling that it’ll be done BEFORE the next 8 games.

And if given a choice, then at our home.

But, we’ve waited so long... let’s win the damn thing.

Wherever they win it...I will be at my regular seat in the pub—and enjoying it with the many millions of fellow Reds around the world!

However—for extra enjoyment—it should be at Anfield, where our TIA supporters can watch in person. Having personal experience with championships won in one’s own stadium, there is no substitute

Maybe if we can lose loads in the next month or so then take it to the last game of the season where we go 2-0 down but win 3-2 with a last minute over head kick to clinch it.
That would be good.

This forum needs a "Dislike" button for posts like this. ;) Bugger off with your winning it in the last minute. I want a nice easy, done and dusted stroll to number nineteen thank you. I've had far too many nail biting moments following our team. Too much excitement isn't good at my age.

Hilarious. I really hope you're getting the max enjoyment from this season, because you seem easily-bored.
Don't shout this out loud but in terms of match rewatchability, I feel this hasn't been as good as other Klopp seasons.

Should we win the league (Yes, I'm one of those superstitious types) I will watch and rewatch the season review vid until next season starts.

As for this season not being as rewatchable... I agree with that. But I think klopp has evolved. He knew the first system (heavy metal) was too much to maintain and has found a system which is just relentless. Sign of a good coach I suppose!

The shittest way to win it would be if we weren't on the pitch. Not sure if that has been considered in the thread but it could happen if City drew or lost on a day when we weren't playing. I remember Leicester winning it that way and I felt a bit sorry for their fans that they weren't able to celebrate at the ground.

If it's on pitch then Anfield is the first choice obviously but away in front of the travelling Kop would be a close second. If it's been hard watching us at Anfield some times in the last 30 years then spare a thought for the poor buggers who follow us all over the place.

If we win it that way it immediately turns into the biggest piss up in history but afterwards no-one will be able to link it to any concrete event. The perfect trip!

During the whole period of not knowing where and when, I'm certainly going to be a more frequent reveller within the environs of O'Reilly's Irish Pub, in the months of February and March and perhaps the more German establishments will indulge me my absence, the reduced take notwithstanding.

“30 years”? I would say that every Reds fan no matter what their age have waited all their lives for this season. Because we’ve never had a season like this. I’ve seen us win the league thirteen times, but never witnessed a season like this. Even when we were dominating in the seventies and eighties we were never this relentless. So no matter anyone’s age they should savour this season.

I was referring to waiting 30 years to be champions. Not waiting for a team that wins every week like cheat mode on a computer game.
This season is freakish in a way.

so at this point, any combination of 24 points gained for us/lost for city (not including leicester here) will do the trick, correct? meaning if we won this weekend and city tie, that number would be 19? and so on?
Exactly; although once citoil then drop further points, Leicester's results may also come into play.
