Basically we need 4 wins. Or win the next 3 and a draw at the Etihad will do it.
If we're still in the FA Cup after Chelsea then the City game will be the third game. So assuming that we get at least a point at the Emptyhad then we would win it at home against Villa. But of course, things might not go according to plan.

The international break at the end of march could also complicate things if FIFA decides to call the matches off. I could certainly see England vs. Italy being shelved. If the internationals don't go ahead and we're still in the FA Cup then we might play Palace on the 28th.

I can not see us winning at Everton or City, right after the international break, so the earliest we can win it if we win at home against Bournemouth, Crystal Palace and Villa is away against Brighton on a Monday night.

Getting a point against Everton and City would mean we can win it against Villa on Sunday, April 12, that would suit me much better. :p

And winning it on April 12 would still give us the earliest ever Premier League title win, pipping Utd by two days.:)

So if Man City draw or lose tomorrow. Do we need 2 wins and a draw or just 2 wins?
My head is mush.

Congrats to our lads on securing at worst second place in record time. City didn't rule out coming third in 2017/ 18 until wk 33!

Just saw that a City collapse could end the title race before we play again, had not thought of that.
Which would be a rather anticlimactic bummer imho... imagine arriving at the team talk before the next match: "BTW - congratz boys , now - about today's match... "

Considering this math exercise I'll tell my family and friends that I'm totally booked starting tomorrow through next Monday. It's a hobby called "Table-watching".
Otherwise known as trophy-twitching...
Haven't seen one of them fly about in my 'garden' for thirty years.

We currently need 9 points. City have 3 games before we play Everton next. Their games are United, Arsenal and Burnley.
Just take off the points that they will drop in the above games - from the 9, and there you have our magic number.

I'm thinking they will draw 2 and win 1. Hence drop 4 points. So we would then need 5 points starting at Everton.

I hope they drop points somewhere. As the Everton game is not going to be an easy game after Athletico game.

Basically we need two wins.
But city play twice before we do. Home to arsenal and home to Burnley.
If they lose one of them or draw both we can win the title at Everton. IF they win both then we can clinch it at home to palace.

if City lose either of those, there won't be a bitter in the ground at Goodison to watch that derby.
