So if/when we win the Premiership this year would. Ox get a medal or do you have to play a minimum number of games?

You need five appearances, so he wouldn't make it if we do win it.

I doubt he'd care though, he'll just be glad to be back and to have played at all this season. A CL medal, which he could get, would be more symbolic for him given that he got that injury in a CL semi.

Let's hope both those issues are actually issues come the season end!

For all those who have given up hope in the Champions League, just a small reminder of what we did the the greatest team in the history of football when they came to Anfield last season

We could easily breach Barca with our blitzkrieg heavy metal approach, we even dominated them over there. Its just keeping them out, a week of dirty tricks training is in order.

We still need to beat newcastle and wolves to have any shot at the title. Sadly it also depends on City but we must win our last two games to stick in there.

The champions league tie..... I'm glad that a lot of us are positive despite being hit by a 3-0 margin like this....... ,

It just doesn't feel like a comeback of this proportion is possible this time around....

So weird the weekend poses a destiny influenced directly by two ex-LFC managers; wonder to what extent any past affections for the club play on their mind. I mean, both came close to winning the league but narrowly failed.

Does anybody genuinely feel City will drop points?
If they'd have still been in the CL,i think the next game against Leicester would have been a lot trickier. They've now had a week to rest and prepare for the game, which gives them a massive advantage now but i'm still holding on to the very slim chance that Leicester could pull another result against them out of the bag, they drew with us away and just blew Arsenal away 3-0,they also have the best 2nd half goal scoring record in the premiership (70.6%) compared to (47.8%) Man City,if they can hold on in the first half and take it into the 2nd half drawing,it's game on.

Just to add aswell,Leicester are 3rd in the table for the best form in the last 10 games, behind us and city.I got a feeling Vardy is going to latch on to a ball over the top, skin Kompany and slam it into the goal,to either draw or win the game.

No one should use 'will' because we are unable to predict the future.
Could they fail to pick up all remaining six points? Absolutely.
I think using “will” is important. It’s the “will” of the people that makes thing happen. This is what our fortress Anfield is built on - as is our club.

So let’s “will” the team on over the line.

We have nothing to lose, all to gain.

The abstract noun 'will' as opposed to the modal verb. That's ok :):well done:

Let's ram this shit down their throats.

You can almost picture the cunt who wrote this nursing a massive semi, such is his delight in pointing out Rafa rant, Gerrard slip and the anti climax of our fans.

Leicester will be looking to help their own European ambitions plus they'll love to have a say in the title race.

If City lose 0-4 in one of their games and win 1-0 in the other, they have the same points and Goal difference as us if we draw. For it to be a play off though it has to be a 4-4. Any less than that they will win on goals scored any draw higher we win.

Didn't realise they had a chance of Europe still. They have to beat City and Chelsea though as well as us beat Wolves and City win the FA cup. Stranger things have happened though.

If we draw the final game 4-4 to put us into a play-off I can more or less guarantee that I won't be alive to see it. No chance I live through that.

The club can still request extra medals for certain players in special circumstances. Pretty sure anyway.
