Haha, That's brilliant.

Coincidental as we're up against Fulham this weekend. I well remember sitting in a bar in Gibraltar watching us play them in 2004. It was a funny game where we were 2-0 down at half time. Then got it back to 2-2. We went down to ten men but took the lead. Igor came on in the last few minutes and I had fingers, arms, legs, eyes and everything else crossed that we would see it out. however Igor had other ideas and scored what i remember to be a great goal. Happy days.
This is the link to the story about Gordon’s bow tie

This thread is killing me.

I just want to go to a match someday

MLS and it’s gawdy commercialism drives me to the point I won’t watch/attend even free games.

Seattle:

Here is local stunt--watch your stadium scoreboard become engulfed in flames:

The things the MLS will do to bring in spectators. :J

Worth seeing. I do like a good fire. I don't start them but I do like to see one.

There are more enjoyable items of interest in our little stadium...the corner booster group is quite enjoyable:

That is...if one enjoys choking on celebration pyro gasses, and having continuous flags/drums banging/falling drunken people all about?

That looks fun for about ten minutes. Better than the Emirates anyway.

You’ve got to give palace fans a lot of credit tonight. Bottom half of the table, tipping down with rain and they’ve are still singing.

Saw another one watching the Man City game yesterday. Ball goes out for a throw in and the City fan in the stand pretended throw it violently into the United players face. I think it was Luke Shaw. Why do that ? Never understand why people hate the opposing players unless they have done something to deserve it. Its a game FFS. Luke Shaw may play for them one day. Unlikely I know but the point still stands, I hate Man Utd as much as anyone but don't hate the individual players or fans.

Incidentally, that's a pretty sweet avatar you've got there. It's nice to see someone else appreciates the legend that is Igor.
Even if this is a slow moving week, you shouldn't be creating multiple accounts and start chatting between them - all by yourself.

One area yes, I had a season ticket with a mate in the Holmesdale, all they did was moan about stoppages and 6 of them left for an Uber 10 mins before the game ended.

I did end up near the ultras at the other end for an FA Cup game and the atmosphere felt brilliant even though they lost to Stoke 1-0....some guy called Shaqiri scored, not sure what happened to him.

Everybody and their dog knows that there is only 1 Igor fan in the whole wide world. And that's you Mr. Biscan. Yes - we know that you have been posting as @Zinedine Biscan.

Yes fair enough but he deserves our hatred. Not sure what Luke Shaw has done to the City fans.

Honestly, the amount of abuse our Manager is getting this time because we haven't signed anyone famous is beyond my comprehension.:-(

I saw some OTT tweets, it is just unbelievable and disgraceful. They have short memories, that we have just won the biggest European prize that every footballer wants in their lifetime.

One neutral fan said to me "I know you Liverpool fans want the Premier League, but to me Champions League is much bigger prize and worldwide renowned".

I just do not understand why Liverpool supporters took it into their heads to boo the National Anthem at Wembley before the Community Shield match. It disrespects the country and brings condemnation down on the club. In another country they would be arrested or worse. They should appreciate the freedom of speech and expression this country gives them, not abuse it.

Aren't they respecting it whereas you're trying to undermine it? ;)

What club do you support out of interest?

This is one of the most idiotic, contradictory statements I've read in a long time. There is literally no point even arguing with these royalist buffoons. Further proof that The Monarchy is just the Kardashians for Tories

Things I hate

1/2 and 1/2 scarves - standard - particularly when they’re of clubs that we despise... City, Everton, United, Chelsea for example.
I can’t believe any liverpool fan would want to wear a scarf with any reference to United on etc.

When fans hammer the referee (even when it looks like he has made the correct decision )

When fans are all like “I hate (insert any player here), he is a cheating diving bastard, but then love it or completely turn a blind eye to it when one of our guys clearly dives.

People who leave early - never have I understood this. Cost enough money ey to go to the match why the fuck would you leave early just to get a 5 min head start on the traffic or get to the pub before the queue starts.
Crazy

This does my head in. Every team has players that dive, it's just a part of football now. Just looks deranged when you see people accusing other teams of being "cheats"

Don't mind half & half scarves to be fair, I've had a few good ones from European matches when I was a kid & they're good souvenirs. Never bought one with another English team on though

I hate all divers be it opposition or ours. I'll also add simulators. Simulation is the word that the authorities use for diving nowadays, but I'd broaden it to include players who feign injury. How many times do we see players seemingly near death only to rise like Lazarus if they don't get the decision they want? But I suppose that has got a lot to do with officials (another pet hate of mine) and their inconsistency. There's been lots written about the vilification that Mo got last season after his supposed simulation. But he gets dragged all over the place and officials turn a blind eye. Just this weekend against Soton. Second half, a Soton player had both arms around Gini and pulled him back a good metre and a half. No yellow card. Not long after Trent caught hold of a Soton player's hand for a brief secon and straight away the yellow was out.
