Why aren't we smashing teams anymore?

The sheer number of games that we are playing this season , we need to be conserving energies not going for heavy metal all the time.

This is a sign of klopp evolving as a manager , his biggest criticism in dortmund was that his teams ran out of steam during the final parts of the season.

Game management is better now, and conserving energy means that there is consistency. The high octane heavy metal will have us hammer teams in 6 out 10 matches.... now we win 9 or 10 out of 10.

Not true. Yesterday we did not conserve energy.

''Premier League tracking data shows Liverpool ran 112.8km over the course of the 90 minutes against Graham Potter's side, their second-highest total in any game all season behind only the meeting with Manchester City.''

Because most of the time we play 3 defensive midfielders with no interest in creating chances or opening space in the middle
Our game rely essentiely on pressing , counter , go wide or long
as long as we are efficient in front of goal , which we are , it's enough for us to win games ( for now ) , but we are not going to over dominate by this way of playing
Klopp out!

That's what I'm thinking. Wasn't so long ago we were hammering teams, 7-0 on occasions.

Nowadays, we grind out a lot of our wins by the odd goal. Winning games late on by the odd goal so many times. We can't carry on like this can we?

So, what's changed? Is it Jurgen just being pragmatic and making sure we're defensively solid? Do our opponents know what to expect and we've become predictable? Thoughts.

Impressive, considering we have precisely one proper DM in the squad.
